20240927 Status Update: Regarding the Release Date / 近況更新:關於發售時期

Hi everyone. First and foremost, we unfortunately have to announce that we couldn't make the Q3 release that we talked about a while ago. Details will be provided below if you are interested.
But for now, please allow me to show some new stuff we've been working system-wise.

各位好,很遺憾的還是要先跟大家報告,我們還是趕不上Q3完成遊戲,詳細會在後續說明大致的狀況。
首先還是先跟各位展示一下這一陣子系統上新增的東西。

During this time, we have added over 80 new additional effects for equipments, as well as a new material called "Essence."
This new material will drop when a weapon OR an accessory is broken, and can be used to inherit the additional effects you have obtained before. This way, broken accessories will no longer be just a penalty, but a hope for a better, stronger equipment.
Additionally (pun intended) we made several changes to the existing effects, making some of the effects obtainable on its own. We hope this can help you broaden the possibiilty of whatever playstyle you like.

我們為遊戲加入了大量的能力詞條(一共有80幾種),同時增加了一個名為「精粹」的繼承系統。
同時也調整了一些原有道具的強化/附魔能力,部份素材也能隨機獲得擁有附加能力的獨立版本,這使在遊戲中養成各種不同功能的武器與飾品成為了可能。
飾品的碎裂也能產出這種繼承用素材,使得玩家不會總將飾品碎裂當成是一種急需避免的嚴重懲罰,善用繼承可以養成更強大的裝備。

Traps and magic circles now have a chance to be visible but unknown, giving players a choice to check if that's something they want to step on.
And we added a new accessory, called the Caution Charm. At the cost of its durability, you can avoid every undetected trap AND magic circle.

現在陷阱/魔法陣將有一定機率能看見地板上在發光,給玩家決定是否要檢查該陷阱。
同時新增了「謹慎護符」飾品,只要配戴該飾品,就能以消耗該飾品為代價,迴避未發現的陷阱/魔法陣。

We realized that the pace of the game can be slow when there are so many enemies in front of you, so we tweaked the process of their normal attacks, to make them start their motions almost seamlessly.
Hopefully this will help keeping the flow of your exploration.

由於原本在遊戲中敵人過多時,依序處理每個攻擊行動將會使遊戲節奏變得緩慢。
我們將敵人的「普通攻擊」改成了會並列執行,以便減輕節奏被嚴重拖慢的不適感。

Discarding your items will no longer cost you a turn, although you still have to take time to pick it up.
With the new "Quick Change" ability, you can change all your equipments- weapons and accessories- in one go, at the cost of some SP.

現在丟棄物品不再消耗回合。(但是主動撿起物品時仍然要)
以及新增了新的能力「迅速換裝」(試玩版必須在過關後的小型無盡模式之中才能學習),此動作將以SP為代價,玩家將能只消耗一個回合進行一次性的裝備全面調整。

There are still more stuff added, but I think I'll save it for another time.
And now comes the part where I apologize.

其他還有許多處理,由於篇幅有限還是等以後再呈現給大家。

Understanding that both the fans and us are eager to have the game out, we tried our best, but still not enough. Aside from all the updates and such, we experienced a rather crucial roadblock regarding the storytelling.
Currently, me and another member of the team are in charge of the scenario part, but he hasn't been in his best shape during the past few months. I thought we're working steadily towards the end, but the results were below my expectations. Furthermore, we sometimes argued a bit about how the story should unfold, adding extra time on the clock.
That's mainly why we are where we are right now. And now it's time to at least fulfill one promise we made. Here's the god-forsaken maid cosplay. Viewer discretion is advised.

接下來想跟各位致歉,由於知道很多粉絲都期待著上架日子,但計畫總是不如預期,這邊除了為了做以上的種種改動以外,在劇情的部份也出了不少差錯。
由於目前負責劇情主要是我以及另一位團員,然而團員前幾個月開始的私人狀況就不太穩定,我誤以為進度有按時推進,但事實上進度卻有所耽擱,彼此在討論劇情時也因為有所爭論而增加了時間成本。
不過由於之前公告時所做的承諾,這邊還是附上了這位成員的女裝照,作為懲罰之一,並以示歉意。

Hopefully we all learned our lessons. The member mentioned above has felt a lot of guilt, but I am no better on supervising things.
That said, I will make sure that things go the way they should from now on, so I hope you can bear with us.

希望各位能多多海涵,當事人也已經非常愧疚,而此事由於我也沒有善盡督導的職責,因此我並不太怪罪他,懲罰的相關部份也將依約進行,而現階段我們依然會繼續推進度,這才是最重要的事情。

In reaction to this, the trailers should be taken down and replaced with a new one that has the Q3 word on it. And we probably will have one last launch trailer whenever it's ready.
We're also somehow now on the Tokyo Game Show 2024 Steam page, a choice we made quite a while ago. All the new stuff mentioned above are in the newly updated free trial.
Frankly entering the game show cost a ton, especially considering where we are right now. Still, we hope you give it a try.
(DLSite will be updated shortly after. Russian and Korean translation are currently incomplete, and will be updated afterwards.)
As for the demo builds for supporters, they will stay halted as planned. Since we need some more feedback regarding the systems as well as playtest, I think it's better if everything is ready to go before letting you experience it.

其他瑣碎小事也先迅速報告一下,我們已經將之前各地公告與宣傳片上所提及的Q3字眼拿掉,而在最後處理完時將計畫再準備一個宣傳短片。
我們參加了原定就已經安排好的東京電玩線上展,同時也先將新的系統放到Steam的試玩版上面以供參展(之後我們也會更新DLsite的試玩版),同時收集feedback,由於這個展花了我們不少錢,因此即使現在計畫趕不上變化,我們還是花了點時間準備,各位不妨可以再試試新增的項目。
(俄文與韓文版本還沒有跟上目前新增的部份,這可能導致有些地方用語怪怪的,未來我們會再更新上去,不便之處也請見諒)
贊助版本我們目前會照原訂計畫先擱置,由於新系統要先收集feedback與繁複的測試,我們傾向還是在正式版本時直接為各位端上完整的內容比較妥當。

That concludes this sad update. The going is still tough, but we're not giving up. On completion of course, and within this year we will strive. If you could, please kindly give us some more time.

好事多磨,慢工才能出细活,这样游戏本身的品质也会有很大的提升,虽然我也对游戏延期上线表示失望,但是我可以理解作者也确实遇到了问题,加油吧大家都在等着游戏上架的那一刻呢
