Report on my July and August activities

My day job is as a commercial illustrator, mainly drawing illustrations to be inserted in posters and pamphlets.

Every year in August, I am commissioned by a car dealer to draw illustrations of automobiles for their calendars, but this year the start of the work has been moved up to July and the process has already begun.

It is very hard to draw art of 14 cars like plastic model box art, and it takes me a whole month to finish drawing all of them. Those are the days of hell.

Besides, once this car illustration work is done, I have to resume writing comics.

So in the meantime, I will not be able to create art for Patreon supporters or do any other work.

Therefore I am going to decline funding from Patreon supporters for the month of July. Please be assured that all supporters will not lose any money.

I don't know yet what will happen in August. I will make an announcement when I know.

私の7月と8月の活動についての報告

私の本業は商業イラストレーターで、主にポスターやパンフレットなどに挿入されるイラストを描いています。

毎年8月に、カーディーラーからの依頼でカレンダーに用いる自動車のイラストを描いているのですが、今年は作業開始が7月に前倒しになってしまいまして、それはすでに始まっています。

プラモデルのボックスアートのような14台の車を描くのはとてもしんどくて、全部を描き終えるのに丸1ヶ月を要します。それは地獄の日々です。

それに、この自動車イラストの仕事が終わったら、私はマンガの執筆を再開しなければなりません。

だから、その間、Patreonサポーターのためのアート制作や、他の作業は一切できなくなります。

したがって私は、7月分のPatreonサポーターからの資金援助を辞退しようと思います。サポーターの皆さんは一切損をしませんからご安心ください。

8月はどうなるかはまだわかりません。判明したらまたアナウンスします。
