Well, my two-month endurance race is over!

I finally finished a big job that I compose as "Summer Endurance Race".
I have 14 illustrations of automobiles that look like box paintings of plastic models, and 14 landscape paintings to accompany them. And this year, in addition to those, I had to draw portraits for 200 people.
I apologize for my long silence for about two months in between.
With each passing day, my eyes became tired, my sleep did not relieve the fatigue, and the pace and concentration of my work slowed down. I didn't even have the time in my heart to doodle because I was so anxious about the work that remained to be done.
But now it's over! I'm finally free!

But I am not yet at ease, because I hear that maybe revision requests for these jobs will come again, and that there are plans for new, heavier jobs to come.
Well, until then, I will forget about work and devote myself to my hobby of painting.

私が「夏の耐久レース」と呼んでいる大きな仕事がようやく終わりました。
プラモデルの箱絵のような自動車のイラストを14枚、それに添える風景画を14枚。そして今年はそれらに加えて似顔絵を200人分描かなければならなかったのです。
そのあいだの約2ヶ月間、私の長い沈黙が続いてしまい申し訳無かったです。
日を追うごとに目は疲れて、眠っても疲れが取れず、作業のペースも集中力も落ちていく。仕事が残ってるうちは不安で落書きする心の余裕もなかったです。
でももう終わった！ようやく自由だ！

でも、もしかしたらこれらの仕事の修正依頼が再びくるかもしれないし、新たな重い仕事がやってくる予定があるらしいので、私はまだ安心できません。
まあ、それまでは仕事のことを忘れて趣味の絵描きに没頭したいと思います。
