Just the other day, while driving my car through a mountain village, I came upon a wild Japanese serow.
The Japanese serow looks very much like a deer, but it is a subspecies of cattle, and it has large black dots under its eyes, making it look like it has four eyes.
They live in the mountains and have a large population, so they are not rare, but it is rare to see them in a human village.
I have encountered them three times this past May alone.
Surely God is telling me to draw them! 😊✨
これは、次にカラーで描く予定のラフスケッチです。
つい先日、車で山里を走っていたら、野生のニホンカモシカに出会いました。
ニホンカモシカは、見た目はシカによく似ていますが、ウシの亜種で、目の下に大きな黒い点々があり、目が4つあるように見えるのが特徴です。
山に住んでいて個体数も多いので、珍しい動物ではないのですが、人里で見かけることはまずありません。
この5月だけでも3回ほど遭遇しました。
きっと神様が「描け！」と言っているのでしょう。(^ ^)
