Here we are with the continuation of the soap opera reveal & cliffhanger from last month! Sorry about the wait on that, but things really did seem to break up better into two chapters.
I'm not completely married to some of these names, so they may change between now and the final novel publication, but I think they're pretty solid?

Another thought here. There are two possibilities here for David's disappearance: spooky reasons or non-spooky reasons (the spooky reasons can be divided into if it's a trap for Alex or not). Now, i get the idea that flying brings its own set of troubles, but using the Demon Express rather increases the chances of running into spooky things if the David's disappearance is due to non-spooky causes. (See also Onyx's comment in GTS that when you use magic to find someone, you're bound to get caught up in their bullshit, except the other way around and you bring your magic bullshit to them.) Of course, given the setup, we know it's spooky causes, but not necessarily a trap for Alex.
