Winning Idea: You’ve just broken up with your bf and you leave in tears. It’s late, it’s dark out, and it’s pouring rain. Without thinking twice, you head straight to one of your closest friends. You don't call first, you just drive. Because there's nowhere else you want to be right now. When you arrive at his place and ring his doorbell, you hope with all your might that he’s home and still awake. He opens the door to find you soaking wet, mascara running, and visibly upset. Before you can even bring yourself to explain, you run into his arms and sob. Once you’re inside and a little calmer, he takes you to his bathroom where he gives you some towels, a change of clothes, and a few moments to breathe and get cleaned up. When you walk out to meet him in the living room, the sight of you with your hair wrapped in a towel and wearing his clothes makes him smile. You sit together on the couch and tell him everything that happened. He listens, he’s supportive, he makes you laugh. And as you look into his eyes, you're reminded why you came here. The two of you have been friends for ages and have always been there for each other. You even had a brief relationship a few years back. Although wonderful, it was short-lived because the timing wasn’t quite right. But so much has changed since then. So much has changed as of tonight. And being vulnerable with him brings feelings to the surface that had never died for either of you. You share a passionate kiss, and let your hearts and your bodies lead the way. He takes you to his bedroom where he comforts you, every part of you, like only he can. And when it's all over, you hold each other as you listen to the rain continue to fall outside. Both realizing that in each other's arms is exactly where you belong.
