I know today is a hard day for a lot of people. Those in the audio/book community, but especially my space here, are feeling rightfully angry and upset right now. I am right there with you. As a person in the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as having lots of friends and immediate family also in the community, I am sickened at the results and am just as afraid of what lies ahead.

I want you all to know that I provide a safe space here for those that need it. My door is always open to anyone that wants or needs someone to talk to. I have said this before, and I still stand by it, but if you need to talk and would rather it not be to a man for any personal reason you may have, you can either contact me and I will direct you to some of the most amazing women I know that I have in my circle, or I encourage you to use the comment section on this post and ask if there's anyone around to talk. I want you to feel safe, heard, and respected.

My community has a zero-tolerance policy for hate in any way. If you find yourself wanted to say something sideways to this message, or to anyone who may use it for help/comfort, save me the trouble of getting rid of you and get rid of yourself.

That being said, I have recorded the first narrative for this month, but I am going to post it on Friday. I think we could all use a few mental health days off. We will get through this together. All of you will always have a home and a family here as long as you want it.
