Dev Build #11

Apologies for the delay, but the first recode dev build is ready for testing! It contains all of Day 1 fully functional in the new story format, and all of it's vore scenes converted to the new system! There's also quite a bit of minor tweaking or rewriting in various scenes.

The new time system is fully implemented and with it the new method of digestion being time based, but the other parts of the digestion overhaul(capacity/overstuffing) aren't implemented yet and stats still work the same way they used to in this build. Also, currently there aren't any messages for digestion, just a note of what your current belly size is at the bottom of the page.

Oh and an important note since the game doesn't prompt you: If you want to change your name, you need to use the textboxes at the top of the opening passage.

I know it's not exactly new content, but enjoy! And let me know how you feel about where things are at.

I had to start by using "give it all you got", and then I reloaded immediately every time I didn't get her down to at least 42-44 stomach health. Then I rest up, struggle, and, when I'm down to one health, use "give it all you got" again. Takes lots of reloads to successfully escape, though - you can really only do it if the RNG likes you.

Thanks for the reports, that Mandy problem is a big oversight on my part. *whispers*: How the fuck did you escape from the custodian??

The now code (and especially the new system) seems to be working pretty good, though I've found a couple of bugs. If you voluntarily release Mandy, belly size doesn't go back below to. Also, iff you escape from the custodian, the text "Error: <>: bad conditional expression in <> clause: Unexpected identifier" appears right before the green text that informs you that you've gotten more experiened - error doesn't crash the game, though, and you're able to proceed normally.

That's actually correct for stamina, it only naturally regenerates up to a certain point. That point happens to be exactly at the threshold between "Tired" and "Fine" if you aren't using numbers, which was an oversight on my part so I'll most likely raise the limit slightly to be less misleading. You should be able to delete a save and then save a new game in the slot, but I agree that not having an overwrite option is annoying! What's in right now is actually a built in saving system that came with SugarCube, I haven't touched it yet. Thanks for pointing out that Gabby bug! And as far as Chandra's scene, it doesn't exist yet which is why that link doesn't work. Forgot to mention that in the post!

Re: the saves system, it's sort of frustrating to only be able to add saves instead of overwriting a previous one.

So far, the stamina doesn't seem to recover after a scene - my character has been at "Tired" all day since digesting Anita.

Overall excellent work. However, I've found a few errors. During the Sam lunch scene the ask about shirt and ask about sister options are on the same line, also I'm pretty sure part of the ask about clubs text didn't load, and following the Sam lunch scene the game acts as if you were paired with Emma instead.

Fantastic work, I really like this new design. Plus as a mobile user I can now name my character. I did notice that when you eat Mandy with Emma the option to talk about it in your room has a closing tag error apart from that all seems good.
