Hello readers!

This is a quick introduction to share some important details before the story begins!

• This story will be shorter than my main novels. The idea is to fit all the action and progression into about 30 chapters, which is about half the length of my usual work.

• This is mostly for Writathon, but I'm also really excited to use it as a chance to explore one of my favorite characters from the main series.

Berserker launches on November 1st, which is this coming Friday. I'll be posting a chapter per day during the Writathon challenge until it's complete. While it follows the same System and rules from Spell Weaver, Jonathan gains his powers in a very different way. No critical information will be exclusive to this story—everything important will also be covered in the main series—so you don't need to read both unless you want to. That said, some smaller details about the System might be left out here to keep the story moving quickly.

Lastly, a trigger warning for this series: To make Jonathan's journey of awakening a trait that turns him into a Berserker feel authentic, he struggles with some intense emotions. At times, he grapples with feelings of depression and has thoughts of self-harm. These are natural and real emotions, and I am not promoting or glorifying them in any way.
