Thank you so much for all your comments and suggestions about thought and speech bubbles. I was having a bit of a creative crisis. My gut was telling me that it wasn't working and I just needed to have it spelt out for me. My work stands up without having to add a layer of dialogue when the pictures themselves do all of the talking. I hate clunky exposition in movies and tv shows and I fell into the very same trap.
The other problem I had was the dynamic between the principle characters Jason and Diggs. 'Doctor' Jason was a little too bland for my liking and nothing for Diggs to react to and push back on. So I've reworked the scenario. Current pics have been tweaked slightly to fit in with new storyline.
Jason becomes Justin - a white privileged party boy with a very rich father (a real estate mogul). Justin gets into yet another scrape with the law and this time daddy can't or won't bail him out. Young Jason has to suffer the consequences of his misdemeanour and serve time.
So trust fund boy has to slum it in a prison cell with...
Well I think you can guess the rest.
If you're wondering about Justin's sexuality - he doesn't care who he fucks as long as he gets something out of it. Example: in his first semester at (insert prestigious college of your choice) he was going to be slung out for appalling behaviour until he seduced his English professor, recorded their sexual encounter and blackmailed said professor into giving him straight 'A's. Basically he's a devious, nasty little shit who's gone through life without having to take any responsibility because Daddy will always pay people off.
Now he's going to learn a life lesson he'll never forget.
