Love that you get excited about the apocalypse even though Buffy has already faced like 7 of them!

Great reaction. For me, this episode was okay, until it clicked Anne is THE Anne from Anne. (a little fun) That made this episode stellar for me. I love old and especially smaller characters being furthered in newer episodes. I absolutely loved Anya before she became such a big character in season 4 just because of season 3. Then you add her in season 4 and 5 and a semi-regular and I so love her. Plus, well, she's awesome. For this episode though, Anne is so big. Even her last episode, in Anne, she was so at a loss to do anything by herself. She was so dependent on others to help her with even mundane tasks. Now, she is so self reliant that she is running a charity, funding it through donations, and helping kids, all with nobody holding her hand through the process. That then in turn makes the episode Anne so much better for me. Buffy may have been a bit hard on Anne back then, but she also turned her around and inspired her to make this charity and to become the type of person who gets it done. So, in effect, this charity is a ripple from Buffy leaving Sunnydale. Also, I really love what she's doing to, because she's helping herself. She was a lost teen girl who narrowly avoided being swallowed by the streets and evil in the world. So, with her newly found self reliance, she decided to help people who were just like her before she met Buffy. She may not have super powers like Buffy does, but she's basically doing the same work and making the big sacrifices for others. All that summed up in one episode. I love how later episodes can change older episodes so they are different the next time you watch them.
