2021-11-22 15:03:07 +0000 UTCagain, thats just me being dramatic and hyperbolic. i just over exaggerate. and i always say in my review how i truly feel and i try to see their side. i went on a long explanation in this video where i was understanding where riley came from. my reaction in the episode itself is legit just me having a fun time “screaming” at a fictional character bc they cheated on my favorite character haha. and yeah, ive addressed my double standard in my initial viewing for the willow/xander cheating thing, it was messed up of me to blame xander more, but i feel like ive addressed that and also explained my reasoning for that in my wrap up for that season iirc

2021-11-22 07:39:56 +0000 UTCThat definitely isn't true. There's no comparison between how she reacted to Oz vs Willow. In the case of Oz and Riley it was immediately: "Get off the show. Please leave and don't come back." In the case of Willow, Alley essentially cringed over the whole thing.

2021-11-21 06:38:43 +0000 UTCTo be fair, in every case I can think of, the "anything wrong" that the male characters did is cheating on their partners. Oz cheats on Willow, Riley cheats on Buffy. Cheating is the kind of thing that it's justified to turn on a character for IMO. And IIRC Alley had pretty much the same reaction against both Xander and Willow when they cheated on Cordy and Oz in season 3 of Buffy.

2021-11-21 04:12:37 +0000 UTCits just me being dramatic and hyperbolic. i feel like i do the same thing with female characters if they do anything wrong. and its mainly just during the episode, i always try to see their side in my review. just while watching, thats my gut reaction (and i tend to be dramatic bc i think its more fun while watching haha)
