2020-12-27 17:33:06 +0000 UTCHow are you watching the shows again? DVD? Streaming? I noticed that this episode is in the better 4:3 format since the remaster was botched, and Hulu/Prime run season 4 onwards at 16:9. Im trying to find it in 4:3.

2020-12-12 19:50:58 +0000 UTCI agree, she's gonna like Angel as a show better based upon the parts of Buffy she likes so far, the drama/psychological philosophical moral ambiguity/dilemma parts of Buffy which are more prevalent in Angel, with Angel being a darker show and story. I think she was blown away by Buffy by her reactions, Angel will be her favorite show ever like it is mine! =}

2020-12-11 17:13:06 +0000 UTCDo you forget things when you sleep? (lol). I think she's going to follow the Slayalive guide, because that's what most people wanted. So some weeks it will be one Buffy and one Angel episode. Other times we could get two of the same. The guide also has, at times three in a row of Buffy/Angel. Not that Alley will do three episodes in a week, it just means that there could be long gaps when we don't get Buffy reactions. Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that, just depends what your preferences are.

I did think it was good(with some great eps too) but BtVs is the one I love the most and will rewatch endlessly with all the many...many reactors. :) I actually haven't seen at least one ep in the 4th season, so I will watch that "live" along with Alley. But aside from some eps here and there, I won't remember a lot of stuff so it will be relatively fresh watching again with Alley. Maybe I will just watched the edited versions, and the pivotal/more well known eps I will watch unedited.

Also, I could only ever watch the German dub. I'm really excited to experience the show in English because something always gets lost in translation.

2020-12-10 21:15:26 +0000 UTCI have done several rewatches of Buffy. However, I have only watched Angel once when it originally aired in my country and I think I even missed the last 2 seasons. I only remember some bits and pieces from the show, so rewatching it with you is a whole 'nother experience than Buffy and it will probably be so much fun. Really looking forward to it.
