BEWARE new subscription price increase starting July 1st, 2025

I've tried to not contribute to the vicious circle of inflation by keeping the subscription price at 5$ for the last 7 years. Since then, everything is roughly 75% more expensive + the U.S. dollar is being devalued, and it's becoming difficult to survive financially.
Starting on July 1st, the monthly updates tier will increase to 8$/month.
According to Patreon, existing subscriptions will stay at 5$/month, so if you were planning on subscribing, now would be a good time. On my end, since the big, time consuming tasks are done now, I'm planning to release updated builds more frequently: once every 1-2 months. I'm also considering moving to a cheaper country - but that's not a trivial step.

2025-06-20 12:46:03 +0000 UTCI totally understand the need for a price increase – it's a tough time for everyone financially, and I really appreciate all the work you've put into the project so far. That said, for long-time loyal supporters, it would feel really fair if we could stay on the $5 tier. We've stuck around through the quiet periods, even when updates or communication were missing for months, and it’s only natural to hope for a bit more consistency in return. More frequent updates and more communication with the community (even just short replies to comments) would really go a long way in keeping this community alive and connected. Wishing you strength and success – and thank you for still pushing forward!
