Announcing the KneecapRock's Big Book of Monsterfolk project!

While searching for smutty ideas that are popular, I delved deeper into Monster Girl Encyclopedia content than I ever had before. I was disappointed.

MGE is a huge waste of potential, in my opinion. Every monster boils down to the same shitty formula: monster girl looks for or stumbles across a man to devote themselves to forever so they can become the fuckslave from his deepest power fantasies. Boring, tired, and PAINFULLY allocishet.

You may have been able to tell from my content (or my bio lol) that I'm queer as fuck. Maybe one day I'll share more about myself, but that's neither here nor there. The point is, I want more awesome, queer, kinky, sex-positive stuff in the world - that's why I started writing and drawing years ago. And honestly, I think making a kinky queer monster book would be fun! I already have a lot of ideas for original monsters (and not just women, monsters of all genders!), and unique spins on existing ones such as succubi, lamias, centaurs, etc.

But I'm not living in a bubble. I also do this because I'm disabled and I need money to escape abusers, and this project is something I feel could help me make some money in a realistic way given my abilities and limitations.

So this is my inspiration and my motivation. I've considered starting a kickstarter campaign, but I can't guarantee this will reach completion as an entire book, be it digital or even (aspirationally) physical as well, so (at least for now) I've opted against it.

The largest barrier to this is the fact I don't have a drawing tablet with a screen. I've wanted to switch to digital art for ages, but I haven't had the money to sink into a drawing tablet with a screen. I was able to buy a dirt cheap drawing pad without a screen, but I can't use it or any like it: My shaky hand, coordination issues, and other disabilities make drawing on paper hard enough as it is, but a screenless tablet is hell for me to use. So, I need one with a screen. My Patreon goal is that once I reach $100 per month, I'll begin the switch to digital and buy a tablet. However, I may forgo that goal and switch sooner if I get enough money from commissions to afford one.
