This is a problem on every artist I follow to be honest. When there's a poll, people don't vote as to who would be an interesting subject for the artist to do - they vote on the name they recognise. So every single poll is won by superheroes/LoL/Overwatch/whatever videogame came out recently. And when you've seen one picture of Harley Quinn or Wonder Woman, you've seen them all. Characters who are actually visually interesting or a great match for the artist's style are always ignored in favour of whatever anime people know the name of.
