I'm so happy I got to work on this piece srsly, sometimes I crave to draw a certain character, but it's hard to muster the motivation to gather references, open up the canvas, and start sketching π I have quite a lengthy list of fanarts I'd love to create, but they often linger in the realm of "someday I'll do"
But having this as August's illustration was such a good stimulus to finally draw Bowsette the way I envisioned her π I hope you enjoy the final result! While working on this, I even brainstormed some ideas about her and Princess Peach. Now that Bowsette has emerged from the "SOMEDAY" limbo, perhaps my creative flow won't hinder me from sketching them together as well lol
