Sorry for the delay. I kept writing this big finale but each chapter felt like it didn't work unless it was released simultaneously with the next, because it was all so huge.
So, please find attached the 53 and 54 to catch us up, and then a surprise Chapter 55 because, well, it needed to be released at the same time.

2024-02-16 01:44:40 +0000 UTCWell that was a hell of a ride, I think I enjoyed book 2 more but book 1 had better highs points, also getting a lot of Mass Effect vibes in more then one place that I enjoyed. I basically no life'd this and now gotta confirm I'm not dead to the outside world :) I called the Presidents wife so early and was cringing whenever Nate was like 'who hates me this much to try and kill me' when like 4 paragraphs ago the wife of the man he killed was publicly hating on him, a grunt with a gun indeed! I kinda wish we got to know more about the Battle of Lagasha, the Mediators, the Grave Wall or even anything more that happened to Earth, the Vol home world or even first contact with the bugs, maybe a few one shots?

I truly hope you will revisit it in some way. So many different directions you can go on from what you left it as. And I hope you do some more art work for this. You’ve done a ton for HP. You could at least do one for each of Nate’s girls. Thanks for your writing. I’ve enjoyed every word written. Here’s to hoping for more on ASFAS.

It’s been a pleasure to read this every week, especially after a shitty day. Having something to enjoy and immerse myself in to distract from every day life has been invaluable. Thank you for writing this Robert. I look forward to reading all of your future stories.

2023-06-20 03:57:54 +0000 UTCWhen I began this story, this Patreon, this sci-fi story was my main focus, but as I'm sure is obvious, my HP story Two Minds, One Wand has been the far bigger draw for my readers. Despite this, I really wanted to ensure ASFAS was not left in limbo, that it became a full story arc with a satisfying conclusion. I hope you've enjoyed the adventures with Nate and the girls, that you found it thrilling as well as sexy, that the themes and emotion rang true to you, even though it was pulp sci-fi at its pulpiest. I love sci-fi for the galactic adventures more than the dry hard sci-fi, and I'm so grateful that you came along with Nate on this adventure through the wacky, the smutty, the silly and the intense. Is the story over forever? I can't say I'm going to revisit it, because I think I've mined the world dry. I think I could have ended it at the end of 'book one' in CH30, but I wanted to write about Talia, about alien races and pod races and about Nate's escape-the-inescapable powers. More than that, I thought you guys deserved a full conclusion, with the threads tied up. Book Two wasn't as engaging or as well thought through as Book One, but I did my best to keep the hooks and twists coming. There will be some ASFAS art coming in the next week, as I've had some requests for Talia art which is in the works, but I don't have any plans for more ASFAS writing or more original sci-fi at this point. I'm sorry to those that disappoints, as I know there are a bunch of you who aren't into my HP work. More than anything, though, I want to say thank you. It's been about a year, over a year perhaps, and fifty five chapters. Over 350k+ words, I think. To those that commented, messaged, gave me feedback or even just clicked Like, thank you for keeping me going. And even if we've never communicated, thank you for your support, for being a Patron. ASFAS wouldn't have existed without your support, in any way, shape or form. You weren't just along for the ride, you were the car, the road and the engine, so thank you so much.
