Two Minds, One Wand - Chapter Thirty Four

Harry and Hermione - this was an interesting writing exercise. I've never really written a scene where it's a culmination of pent-up years of friendship, affection and love. Balancing the emotion of it with the lust - it was a challenge.

I'm planning to write a little HP novella later in the year - a five or ten chapter one-and-done story. Not sure on the premise. I've seen other authors do polls to vote between premises/characters, which is a nice idea to bring you all along for the ride - maybe I should do the same?
Quite pleased with the Hermione image attached - what do you think? There's always a temptation to make her look like a 1:1 fit to the movie actress, but I think this works a little better?

An excellent chapter!! love it, I agree with the other reviewers, emotional, romantic, she look incent and a temptress, the bond dont change her, really, she was already with Harry in mind and soul, cant wait to see the dynamic with her and the other girls.

2023-04-29 17:31:57 +0000 UTCI finally got to read it. Been busy. It was perfectly done. Normally, when Harry bonds a girl, it's about lust, or occasionally, neediness. This was more passionate. Sensual. It was about love. It showed how in love they were. They really are perfect for each other. Hermione is his best bondmate. She offers him what no-one else can offer: genuine love. Their affection for each other runs deep. They have been through a lot, but they did it all together. They belong together. I absolutely love how nothing changed! They were already madly in love. Their true love runs deeper and stronger than any other bond. I hope this is a turning point. Until now, Harry was drowning in Tom's memories, desperately seeking a lifeboat. He has her to confide in. She will be by his side. Hermione can be his lighthouse in the dark. She can pull from the brink. I honestly hope Harry marries her. She has the best chemistry. I do have one question, though. How old are they? I thought they were 16 (17 in Hermione's case). In Hermione's diary she states that she and Harry met at age 11. At the beginning of the story, Harry was 16 so they should have been 12 when they met. Of course, don't get me wrong, I actually like their canon ages better. Makes them feel like the teenagers-in-love that they should be, rather than young adults. Brings back memories of my own. Of course, it's only a slight difference so not that big of a deal. I am grateful its not a super-large age change. Oh, and Brits say 'mum' rather than 'mom.' In any case, this may be your best chapter, yet. I honestly can't wait till next Friday for more. Thank you for writing the story.
