I didn't get a chance to respond to all the great comments on last week's chapter, little and big, critical and complimentary. But I sure read them all and appreciated all your thoughts.
It might have been the first chapter where I've had significant feedback, which is always useful for any author.
So thank you for that. I noted your comments and I shall try to find a fine balance between a light-hearted story and an authentic plot, much like I try to find the balance between smut and story. Sometimes, I may error, but I'll keep trying to thread the needle. (We'll certainly be needing some smut soon, after all this heaviness, I think!)

P.S. A Soldier For All Seasons fans, the chapter is done but I'm just doing some editing on you, hopefully will post shortly.

Might fall off this story Potter being an ass is one thing disregarding his most trusted rubs me in a way I find it hard to not hate his character and if tragedy befalls her it’s just a little much to come back from Hannah I got and saw the sense but granger he never learned and throws away the only one he shouldn’t if he’s not all Tom at this point smh I’ll keep reading for now but this story is hard to find any reason to care for the protagonist I don’t follow for only the lemons
