BABYMETAL did one anime theme song. Unikitty. I’m an idiot and don’t know how to link it to here but if you search it, it should show up. 22 seconds long but you can definitely hear BABYMETAL.

Here's a cover they did plus two other performances of the same song. This was originally performed by Su's former band "Karen Girls" that did the songs for the Anime "Zettia Karen Children" that only had a one year 51 episode run, which at the end Su and Ayami was placed in an upcoming idol group Sakura Gakuin at the same time a little girl named Yui who's family was friends with Ayami's family loved Karen Girls and while a family member was in the hospital the nurses would keep Yui company and played Karen Girls dvd dance versions for her, so she taught her friend Moa in another Amuse outfit called Ciao Girls where they did modeling and commercials the dances and performed this for their entrance exam to Sakura Gakuin then during the Legend D show to celebrate Su's 15th birthday Babymetal performed the song to where after the show Yui wrote about it on the Sakura Gakuin blog saying that "tonight my dreams came true as I became a Karen Girl" https://youtu.be/ykeunGPzi4Y?si=77zI49AjRjAb3bHG

Their solo covers are all birthday related. This was a huge hit in Japan in 1997, so Su covered it for her birthday at Legend 1997. The year before at Legend D (her 15th birthday) she covered 'White Love' another big hit in 1997. At Legend 1999, the concert in June 2013 celebrating Yui's and Moa's 14th birthdays, Yui covered 'Chokotto Love' and Moa covered 'Love Machine' which were both big hits the year they were born - 1999. Another cover they did at Legend D was 'Over The Future'. I don't remember if you've seen it - you could watch the original by Karen Girl's first - one of the members of that group (the youngest of the three) was a certain Suzuka Nakamoto (later better known as Su-metal).

SuMetal hits my soul onesmore. It's going so deep and emotional and shows her talent even in this early era aswell and onesagain. The performance is intense and involving it sends shivers all over for many times. It seems she can sing about anything and I will believe in it (even if it about dust on a cupboard hahaha). It is for sure the best cover of this song and also when they covert the song . "Animation With You" it sounds better to me as the original , but this is very subjective (sorry at all Kiba Of Akiba fans ). Everytime BabyMetal is involved it makes it more interesting for me, for example "Painkiller" with Rob Halford. This is what I found about this song (kopied from a comment from roadrunner to another reaction of this song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKe1ZcRBOkI) The song used for the intro (well known for being the typical graduation song) is called "Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1" (Land of Hope and Glory) composed by Edward Elgar in 1901. "Tamashii no Rufuran" (Soul's Refrain) is the theme song used for the first Neon Genesis Evangelion film, Evangelion: Death and Rebirth, playing during the end credits. It was performed by Yoko Takahashi and released as a single with the film's soundtrack on February 21, 1997. Obviously Su-metal's year of birth. This one-off performance was Su-metal's special solo (covering a hit from their year of birth was one of their early traditions) for her 16th birthday celebration at Legend 1997 (December 21st, 2013) and it's my personal favorite solo performance by Su. Last but not least a big thank you and congratulations for that reaction. It makes me remembering of a song that I haven't heard for a long time and your comments and expressions will show ones more how deep you are into the Foxhole and thats soothing for many reasons. 🦊🦊🦊 For The Fox-God 🦊🦊🦊
