It isn't a bad song at all. Maybe not the best for just listening to (but then again, it is very easy to sing along with), but it is a fun one when they've played it live and you can see they're having a great time with the choreo. It is a mixture of all sorts, the main melody is based on a Finnish polka, the choreo borrows from eastern European folk, Irish and other styles - Flugelhorn OldMan described it, I think accurately, as "Europe-ish". Joakim Broden is lead vocalist with Swedish power metal band Sabaton. They opened for BABYMETAL at the Dark Night Carnival concerts in October 2018 (which was when he also recorded his vocals for this) and when BABYMETAL came back from their hiatus in 2023 they stepped in to support Sabaton on their European tour when The Hu had to pull out. If you ever see Legend Metal Galaxy from 2020 watch and listen to the introductory kamishibai (intro video) leading into this song. It is hilarious.

For sure there are o lot of better songs than this but here are the happines and the irish rythm and dance what me catches .... and ... I never heard a bad song from BabyMetal. The only bad thing about that song it has never been performed live =( I have a request. Can you do their live performance with Darth Vader? Yes Darth Vader lol.. and it has the wrestler guy in It too from this song. Its Meta Taro again but i know you don't mind reacting to difference performances of the same song. Unless you plan on doing a full concert watch of 2018 Dark Knight Carnival with us lol then u can just wait til then for the fun
