Genshin Impact Trivia

Hey all! The next video might be Control. I'm going to be looking around for what game will be next. I break down the "video trivia" by section, and I try to add context and paragraphs so that you understand what I'm talking about. That being said, you might need to watch the video again to see what I'm precisely discussing.

~~ Intro ~~

-All the discord posts that you see in the video (and especially the intro) are real.
-The "Dog killing" part in the beginning of the video originally got the first upload of the video demonetized. I uploaded it again, got a different manual review, and it passed.
-I had to cover the boobs of Lisa's massive cleavage because I was afraid that YouTube would use them to demonetize me.
-Mentions of Apotheosis and Buddhism are remnants of the original script which was going to lean on explaining how to not desire the gacha, not want specific characters, and live happily. But, I wanted it to be more focused on the game mechanics.
-Half of the Fischl footage is from my friend's account, I didn't have Fischl for most of the time when I was filming.
-I had to fetch Avatar porn for an hour or so to make the Avatar jokes in the intro.
-The part about the "Chimpanzee martial arts" and "Like australopithecus" used to be "Palestinian martial arts" Which would've been funnier for a character who throws rocks. However, prior to my video, my channel was entirely demonetized for a single 9/11 joke, so I had to change it for safety.
-I pronounced Xiangling wrong.
-I contacted Mihoyo about a sponsorship but they got back to me only after I recorded all the footage, making the entire endeavor useless.

~~Maximally Important~~

-I was going to include more bits about "self control" in this part of the video but realized quickly that it wasn't as funny or face paced as I would have liked. As my videos near 16 minutes, I begin to get genuinely fatigued with the project and eager to release, so I typically don't want too much bloat at the beginning, since I will make the longest (and most important) points there.
-Originally the video was going
-Again, all my discord posts about Ganyu are my real shitposting
-All my Ganyu footage is from my friend. I don't think I'll get her.
-I skipped explanations of the Pity system in this game (Which is a system where you can get guaranteed drops if you roll enough) because it didn't really further my point.
-Because I played this game mostly for the women, I actually didn't want any male characters in my party. I never used them, even if they were optimal.
-When Genshin was first released, the anticheat was the subject of a great amount of controversy. The developers forgot to tell it to turn off when the game isn't running.
-When I talk about the "Regular crab", I tried to hide a very small (pixel sized) morse code message on it. But, I think YouTube's bitrate/compression has ruined it.

~~Teyvat~~

-This section took the most editing per second. If you've seen my "Patreon doge video", you probably know that I would spent several minutes or possibly 20+ minutes on some images, just due to unforseen time sinks.
-I do not pretend to understand how the absolutely wild "vision" system works in game or why characters have elemental superpowers
-When I say Mondstadt doesn't have a formal government, I mean it. The lore has no like formal, unifying government. It's kind of funny.
-The section about "Wolvendom" or the part of Mondstadt ruled entirely by wolves is true in the lore, but it's also based on an actual libertarian commune which had a massive bear problem due to no one being able to stop others from feeding the bears. As a result, it had a chronic, aggressive, and slightly diabetic bear population eternally attacking them.
-I didn't like many of the China jokes I made but I felt obligated to make them because I know other people find them funny.
-My intention with this video was not to be "pro" anything, like, not to appear as if I was a shill for American jingoism or China. I do not intend to display actual political bias in any form on my channel.
-I had to physically stop myself from using sped up Morshu gifs and green screens on this section of the video, I had used it several times in a row.
-The "Enemies" part of the video was my favorite to edit. It's so much fun to talk about these nonsensical foes. Especially the Hilichurls.
-I used a copypasta about gaming laptops in order to fill text space when I was making the "American" meme.

~~Combat~~

-The meta of this game is pretty much to have 1 DPS and their 3 supports
-I feel like I exaggerate the elemental part of the combat, it doesn't hurt you that much unless you are genuinely really fucking up. I would like a game about elemental alignments that can actually hurt you in combinations more, or unlock overpowered stuff, but I don't like Pokemon.
-I don't have Klee, all my footage using Klee is just from demos and from her quest.
-I regret not describing the weaponry types of the game. They're very important.
-Most combat stuff I talk about applies to players who have played for under a few hundred hours (Most people), but a lot of the tank and health points I bring up might not apply for ultra high level characters.
-I blurred out me saying "Tiananmen square" and cut it off because I didn't actually want to say it in case politically sensitive topics get me demonetized in the future.
-I am really upset that my DPS Beidou got a 5 star weapon instead of me receiving a 5 star character. You can see it in the video, it's the blue sword that I have.
-Unfortunately, the "Insane discord stalker" in the video is actually my good friend. She just types creepy as a joke.
-The "Cross country gaming" joke for some reason caused my editing software to crash 4x.

~~Exploration~~

-I don't think I actually emphasized how vertical the game world is. You can miss it if you aren't paying attention. It's fairly ridiculous, and I really do like what the verticality adds. Climbing mountains was fun.
-The "Wild radish" story is true. I found Liyue because I wanted to find a radish.
-At this point in the video I become determined to edit harder and wasn't impressed with my progress. So, I often edited small jokes in visually ontop of what I was talking about, even if it was very unrelated.
-The "Three mountains" puzzle is in my favorite open world area in almost any game - Jueyun Karst. It's a great area, I felt like it was worth installing just to explore it.
-I repeatedly screw around in Garry's mod to get footage for jokes in my video.

~~The Pain~~

-The "Resin" rant for the first rule was really hard to edit because it caused my editing software to lag too much (Lots of the footage was sped up and that takes processing power)
-The Warframe footage in this video is from my "Warframe - Autohotkey" Video, an ancient and short meme I made. I prefer this game's resin system to warframe's grind, personally.
-I recorded my brother grabbing my neck to accomplish this section of the video, that is me. My beard is too long, but I am lazy.
-The "Warframe - Fortuna" section where I change all the sound effects was the most fun to edit. It was so dumb.
-Around the 15 minute mark, I decided that I was going to hurry up and release the video, so I didn't edit too hard.
-I sometimes recommend playing on English for this game in order to enjoy it from a "This is hilarious" perspective.

~~Conclusion~~
