7/5 Status Update

It was another highly productive week over at Apollo Seven Games. I'll just go over the progress I've made since there's nothing all that new to talk about beyond "remember those things I said I was going to do? I'm doing them!"

I've almost finished the last two levels of Netoria Tactics 2 Act 1, which means the content planned for Steam in October is almost done as well. The new sprite gropes have been fully implemented and have proven to be a lot less buggy than I expected. I think they're a big improvement. I'm mostly going to just polish content for now instead of pushing into Act 2 because of the attention Netoria 1 and Naked Ambition are demanding right now.

That Netoria 1 attention is of course the femboy content. I was planning on this being the last thing I do for the game, but I might do something else to coincide with the Netoria 2 launch as well for the s y n e r g y. As you can see above the grope art is all done. I haven't written those yet, but that's one of the things on the docket this month. The scenes are well under way and I think they're going pretty well. I'm not really re-inventing anything here, it's just more Netoria 1 stuff. Different trigger conditions, different grope pairings, but nothing revolutionary. In game, femboy Carwyn is pretty much just a squishier, faster Carwyn that likes standing next to people a lot more.

So that's on track for a release next month. And then I've got two months to get Netoria 2 ready for launch! But wait... I thought I said that Netoria 2 was basically done. What am I going to do during that time? Wait.. what's that sound...

It's the Naked Ambition art alert! This is not a drill! I said the sprite artist had moved on to Naked Ambition stuff and here's proof. This is a WIP, but you can get an idea of the subtle changes in style the new stuff will have. The big one being that it is no longer roto-scoped. That makes it more hands off for me, but also more expensive. Like, a lot more expensive. Greanted the current sprite artist charges more anyway, because they're really good and all that. But getting all the art I need to finish Naked Ambition is going to take a lot of resources. Resources I hopefully will get from the Netoria 2 launch. So don't expect Naked Ambition to be finished all that soon, but updates will be coming in the near future, probably right after the femboy Carwyn update.
