6/1 Status Update

Sorry this post is late, I meant to do it yesterday but lost track of time. As for why this was going to be a Saturday post and not a Friday one, there was an update Friday! Well, only for the Steam version of Netoria Tactics 1 but it was still a pretty big one. The crossover update with Naughty Tale of Rabbits is done and Sunny is now playable as bonus content. As always, if you've donated at least $10 in the past you can DM me for a copy of it without Steam DRM.

Now that that's done, what's next? There's the femboy Carwyn stuff of course, that's coming along. The publisher wants me to release it in August, which is longer than I need. The publisher also wants me to release Netoria 2 Act 1 in October, which is way longer than I need. Pretty weird to have all this extra time, usually I'm pushing hard to get stuff done fast. But so far this deal has been making me a lot of money, so I'll just do what they say. Netoria 1 has sold about 1,000 copies on Steam since I signed with them, that's almost as many as I moved the launch month!

So if I'm following the publisher's timeline, what am I supposed to do with all this extra time? Maybe I'll go for a two month trip around the world. Mmm... nah. I'll probably just make more video games. The obvious candidate for this slack time is Naked Ambition. I already talked about how I plan to get back on that game and it's true! I do plan to! Now that the Sunny stuff is done it kind of seems like now or never. So if next week I don't come back and talk about the stuff I've started doing in Naked Ambition, that's probably a bad sign. I have tried and failed to get that boulder rolling again in the past. But this time I have a good feeling about it, I swear.

But one thing that's definitely happening is all the Femboy Carwyn stuff. I have a bunch of the art done already. I'm kind of glad that it ended up being cancelled and then revived with a bunch of extra time. Because I got to make it a lot more expansive than the first plan I had. Like this scene with Vivian example. The original femboy route was only Carwyn+Owain. So this art of Carwyn and Vivian scissoring never would have existed.

And I wouldn't have had my new sprite artist, so this sprite of femboy Carwyn wouldn't have existed or at least would have been worse. Sometimes things work out well even if it's a disappointment at the time. hopefully that's true for Naked Ambition as well.

And lastly, to show how fully-fledged this femboy stuff is, there's a whole bunch of new grope art! 14 new ones to be exact, featuring Carwyn with Owain, Gwen, Vivian, and Kobold Joe. Yes, I just want to confirm that the femoby Carwyn + Kobold Joe stuff is in fact real. I wasn't kidding.
