5/23 Status Update

It's been a week since the Netoria 2 demo launch. It's been pretty slow, but it's a demo and a lot of the people who are into it might have played previous previews or are waiting for a more full version.

But right now, my focus this and next week is all on getting the Naughty Tale of Rabbits crossover update done. I got the last of the needed art in and it's all coming together. Sunny has been a lot of fun to write for. My main joke with her is that she's pretty annoyed she got isekaid again immeadiatly after being isekaid at the start of her own game. So she's rather uninvested in the story and just wants to get back home. This is all bonus content, so nothing that happens with Sunny changes any other routes. It's all stapled on top if you want it.

There's five new scenes in addition to the in battle grope content, which there's a ton of for Sunny. For example...

Aw, Sunny found a portal spell so she can talk to Tommy! Isn't that sweet.

Uh oh! Good thing it's dark! Better not let Tommy figure out what's going on!

This scene is not tied to any route, it happens if Sunny has been harassed a lot by any of the guys. There's variations for all three of them. The other four scenes are on the Gwen slut route, the Carwyn+Gwen route, the Carwyn+Vivian route, and the golden route. The unlock conditions for these are pretty simple, just have Sunny use her Bunny Power skill to start grope scenes. The three guys will grope Sunny on their own as well, but to build up her relationship with Carwyn you need to proactively use the skill since Carwyn won't start groping her on his own. Something about respecting her or something silly like that.

This update comes out next week exclusively on the Steam version of the game. As always, if you've given me $10 total in subscriptions, you can DM me for a copy of it. I know it's annoying that you don't get automatic updates this way, it's at least some kind of work around if you can't buy/don't want to buy the Steam version for whatever reason.

The last thing I want to talk about this week is Naked Ambition. I actually played it again for the first time in a while and... it was good! I feel really motivated to finish it right now, more than I have in years. It's going to happen, I am serious. My sprite artist is working on cool in battle grope animations for Netoria 2 right now, but once those are done I'm putting them full force on new Naked Ambition art.

I'm going to do this thing right. No cutting the endings short, pairing them down. I want to fulfill my vision of this game. That means making art for like 40 endings. And if that what it takes, that's what I'm going to do! I can't promise when the game will be finished, but I am seriously working on it. If I don't do it now in this lull created by waiting for the Netoria 2 Steam release, then when?
