3/15 Status Update

We're almost at the point where I have all the art in for Netoria 2. Or well we would have been if I hadn't decided to order more. It's not like the game can come out this month anyway with the move to releasing it on Steam up front. But it does mean that I could make some more preview builds that are basically almost the full game. So people in the higher tiers of support should look forward to seeing that soon. Let's look at some of that art:

I'm pretty happy I decided to get these scenes with the villains made. They add a lot more punch to the last scenes of Act 1. Seeing the threat they pose in a more visual, physical way adds a lot more impact. Ideally the ending of Act 1 should leave you excited to see more, and I think this helps accomplish that.

All the character art is ready as well. Although you only see the Act 2 classes for a brief time, having them all ready as a little preview was important. Like Shah's femboy class for Act 2, Sword Swallower.

 

Unlike Zaman who is a woman for all of Act 2, Shahrazad can still change between girl and boy form at will. But if you used her femboy form frequently in Act 1, in Act 2 she'll start using it as her default look as well as favor it in her sex scenes.

Azar also can freely switch genders in Act 2 as well, although he won't start using his female form except in specific sex scenes. To get those you'll have to grope Zaman while Azar is a woman.

As for Vashti's TF content, that's a little more complicated. It plays into the whole naughty/nice mechanic she has. I'll talk about it more once her Act 2 content is in development, but basically if you do specific thing in battle she'll start using her futa djinn form in sex scenes.

Development of the game itself is nearing completion. The last few levels, items, and scenes are all wrapping up. But the Steam approval process should take a bit. For Netoria 1 it took about two months, but knowing what pitfalls delay a NSFW game this time around should make it smoother. I'll use that time to polish the game more to make sure it's as good as I can make it for the launch.
