At the Mountains Of Friendship Anniversary Update
Added 2024-09-22 17:55:26 +0000 UTCThanks to everyone who played and enjoyed AtMoF over the past year. It was a lot of fun to make and I'm proud of it. This will likely be the last update for this version of the game, but the girls may return in another form in the future.
Changelog:
Girl 13, Avery, added. Fetish feminization
Girl 14, Aliana, added . Fetish exhibitionism
Girl 15, Turnip, added . Fetish goo girls. (Turnip is a special bonus girl. She doesn't have scenes in game, only art in the gallery)

That's true an tbh I might be missing something but I think if you have it spread out through every girl that would mitigate the length issue and I think one benefit of it would be the like sorta expectation that it would take longer because RN you finish like one battle and get bombarded with scenes and convos after the first few battles only for them to dry up in the run later on and given how hard the finalonsters can be you would see the beginnings over and over again and it made a late failure feel worse. By making it an overall progression system you would make failures and successes both contribute to it so even though you might have lost on a needs to be blocked by 2 girls monster you would still have all the progress you have earned

2024-09-22 19:00:14 +0000 UTCThe next step in development was going to be a progression system. You'd earn points for using girls and could then upgrade them with better starting stats, new abilities, etc. I suppose unlocking scenes could be a part of that. I don't know if that would make the delay between unlocking stuff feel worse, or if not interrupting the flow of gameplay would make them feel better.

I commented this on the other post but I do think an h scene progression system that's based on how much time you use each girl over all and each girl combo might work. Especially if you get maybe permanent boosts for progression so like fully embracing the rogue like elements
