2/16 Status Update

Today's update is all about Netoria Tactics. The new update is basically done, the Steam store page is ready to go, that means it's time to...

Wait while Steam does a review process to let the page be made public. It should only take a few days but until that's done I can't actually share anything. I want the female Carwyn update to happen when the store page is already done so no release today. Unfortunately that's a cost of working with platforms like this, you can't do everything by your own schedule all the time.

Whenever it gets approved I'll release the Female Carwyn update. And in around a month I'll publish the Steam version. I'm thinking March 15th. All the new art is done at this point, and most of the writing too. But the timeline isn't really my own at this point, I can't just hit "release game" as soon as the store page is up. There's more review processes and etc, etc.

But once it's out there and it's in your library, you'll get this super cool title screen! The way I coded it, the Gold Edition is pretty much just an in game toggle. When it's on you get the extra art and can see the bonus scenes, can get the new items, etc. And when it's off, you can't. So when new updates come out, you can play them in either version. There's no reason to not play the Gold Edition if you have it though. 

Since the Female Carwyn update is basically done on my end, here's what the changelog looks like:

• Added two new epilogues for Female Carywn routes
• Pirate: Female Carwyn corrupted and slut Gwenivier
• Dragoon: Female Carwyn corrupted and corrupted Vivian. Has variants for if corrupted Gwenivier.
• In later camp exploration scenes, if on the Female Carwyn route he'll explore camp in his female form with slightly different dialogue
• Near the end of the game, if on the Female Carwyn route, Carwyn will stay in his female form even in story scenes.
• Did some editing throughout the game to tighten things up a bit
• Fixed a bug where the Carwyn-Gwen netorase scene would trigger even if you hadn't gained points in that route

Not the longest changelog ever, but those two new epilogues should make the Female Carywn routes feel a lot better. Especially the combination with Slut Gwen, which was pretty bad before.

Lastly for this week, here's some more work in progress art of Sk8er:

I haven't really made much progress on the new progression systems yet, so 1.3 is going to just be Sk8er and new items. Maya baaaaarely won the bonus scene poll, so we're going to see the aftermath of her escapades in 1.3 as well. Kind of hard to escalate from locking herself in a toilet stall and being fucked by dozens of guys, but I'll think of something.
