1/21 Status Update

This is another update that's mostly going to be about Netoria. I put out a $10 preview of At the Mountains of Friendship yesterday, the biggest new features of that being more scenes written and a gallery do check that out if you have access to it. Next Friday I'll put out a preview for Netoria chapter 4.

That's coming along well. A lot of it is written, but it needs lots of editing to make sure all the different options flow well. Art is also underway, including the character art for the final party member.

There's still a few things that need to be changed a bit to match the existing artstyle, mainly how heavy some of the outlines are, but it's pretty close to done. For people who are new here, right before Netoria came out the artist had to leave because of the death of an immediate family member. The scene art was done by the same artist who does art for ATMOF as an emergency commission and he can't keep doing it. But the new artist is on the case now. We're trying to match what exists as best we can, but there will be a few differences inevitably. 

What role does Cythraul play in the story? A pretty big one, but in terms of NTR he's fairly limited. The only character he interacts with is Vivian. I'm trying to keep story spoilers to a minimum so you'll have to wait until you play it for the details.

There's still one map I haven't finished the design of yet in chapter 4. It's level 18 and looks like this:

The main thing I'm still unsure of is exactly how to place the enemies. But I'll figure it out soon.

Chapter 4 contains five possible major sex scenes, as well as variations for some existing ones. For example, if you don't trigger Owain's level 5 scene by the trigger in chapter 3, there's another chance for it to happen here, although it plays out a little differently as Carwyn isn't missing anymore. To trigger the later triggers, you have to have either Gwen of Carwyn already on a route. For example, if Gwenivier is under Mordrid's influence, Vivian has an easier time convincing Carwyn to give up on her. 

But even if Gwenivier and Carwyn are free of corruption at this point that still doesn't mean they're in the clear.. There's some traps waiting for the couple later on...
