4/2 Status Update

I had a pretty productive week, so let's go over it. First some good/bad news. Good news, Naked Ambition .8 will come out very soon, and the test build even sooner. Tomorrow I think. The bad news is that there's going to need to be a .81. I was really excited to get into the end game crisis and endings, but it's going to have to wait a month-ish.

The problem is what I was planning to do with the weeks in March and April that have no council members didn't really work out. So that means I have to do something to replace them, and that's going to be Spring random events. And since I'm redoing how random events trigger anyway to tie into pink cards and reputations and such, it's a good opportunity to make .81 a general random event update.

So that's what's going on with Naked Ambition, .8 will come out very soon, .81 not long after (hopefully), and then .9 in... well I'm not even going to guess. And then .9x's all the way to 1.0 and a finished game. Here's the last preview art for .8:

The final pieces of art for .8 are done, so there's just some small trainer event stuff left. And I finally added Isabella's events in. Wasn't I supposed to do that like to major versions ago? Well it's in the game now.

Work on the new game is well underway. I was planning on working on it slowly in the background, but I've been having so much fun with it, it's pretty much already a playable game. And I've been getting lots of art done for it, including the first girl pretty much done.

All girls have go through three different stages of "stultification" with their clothes as they level up.

And their magical girl outfits reflect that too.

And when fighting, they even have torn clothes variations!

The way the game is set up, all girls are essentially interchangeable as far as story and such goes. So feel free to pick and choose which ones appeal to your most as you build your teams. I'm really excited for how things are turning out so far and think this could easily be my best game yet. All this is only possible thanks to your support.
