3/26 Status Update

The ending order polls for Naked Ambition are over! Here's the final order:

So it has been decided, so it shall be! But endings? Surely that's not that important right now, is it? I've almost finished the ball scenes for .8, which means .8 being done is on the horizon. And what's after .8? .9. And what's in .9? Endings! So we're maybe 3-4 months away from actual full play throughs of Naked Ambition being possible. It's been a long journey to get here, but the finish line is in sight.

I need to get some last art in, but since the end of the month is so close I think I'm going to put out that $10 preview before I get it, in the next few days. The test build for .8 will be next month. To wrap up the Naked Ambition stuff for this week, here some more preview art:

What I really want to talk about this week is the new game coming up the pipeline. Art has been rolling in for it and I've been working on programming the game so I'm proud to announce... well it doesn't have a name. It's called Magical Girl Horror Autobattler in my documents. And that description pretty much tells you what it's about. Let's take a look at it a bit shall we?

Here's a screenshot of a test for the story segments of the game. It shows the contrast between the black and white horror art that represents the player and the monsters, and the more cartoony, colorful art of the girls and their world. You'll recruit girls, send them to fight monsters, and watch as they find love/go insane.

I've been commissioning lots of very talented artists for this game, it's by far the biggest budget game I've made yet. And that's all thanks to you and your support!

I'm really excited for this one and think it could end up being special. As long as I can pull it off of course. But hey, when has blind ambition stopped me before! So I hope you stick around for the next leg of the Apollo Seven Games journey. Of course, TF Card Battle and Naked Ambition aren't going anywhere. After The Monster Within comes out of early access, TF Card Battle will probably quiet down, but that means full work on Clothed Ambition (the SFW Steam conversion) will begin. And work on Clothed Ambition means updates for Naked Ambition, can't let that cross promotion go to waste!
