2/4 Status Update

Yesterday I put out the test build for Naked Ambition .74, which contains 2/3 of the update's content. My plan is to have the full update done in around a week, so I can concentrate on getting the new TF Card Battle content done as well as the werewolf update for TMW. So since this is hopefully the last status update before .74, here's some more art previews.

This is the last art done by the current artist. The new one will be taking over from here on out. I would have preferred to keep the current (now old) one on until the end, but they had personal obligations that meant they just didn't have the time to keep freelancing for me.

As I said above, the new TF Card Battle update will be my main focus this month. I've already designed the cards and have them coded into the game, but there's lots of balancing, writing, and gif sourcing to do.

The new pregnancy TF has a few interesting features that differentiate it. The first is that all its cards are heart cards. No sub at all. The second is that its payoff cards are also setup cards, something no other TF does. For example:

In the card above, if you're not already pregnant, you become pregnant. But if you've already got a baby in you, you get the payoff effect. So even if you only buy the payoff cards, you'll still be able to gain children over time.

Of course, just using those cards won't take true advantage of the class. The third thing it does differently is having effects that carry over to later turns.

With Gift of Life, the effect triggers the next time you get pregnant, whether that's this turn of four turns from now. And the effect stacks. If you play four of these over a few turns, you'll gain 32 TF when you get knocked up.
