7/9 Status Update

So you may have noticed that Naked Ambition .71 isn't out. It's REALLY close, the new few days for sure. That's four weeks instead of two weeks like I said, but oh well. I've been developing this game for over a year and I still underestimate how much time the writing will take every update. I mean, you just sit at a keyboard and press some keys, and boom, text. So why does it take so long?

For this one the issue was mostly I had less time to devote to working on these games than normal this month. I have my day job, and then the rest of my life, and then these games. To be honest, a lot of the time these games take over that "rest of my life" time. I'm not complaining though, I do it because I like to. But it does mean that any time I want to devote time to other hobbies the delivery time of these updates suffer. I think that a month isn't actually that bad for an update like this since there's 9 pieces of art and 21 scenes, that's a pretty good chunk on content. That doesn't change the fact that I said two weeks and fully expected two weeks to be doable.

But what's done is done. Let's look to the future. As I said before, .72 will include the Vizier, Isabella, and Ulric. I'm going to say three weeks for this one. The Futa Oasis demo caused about a week-ish delay as I worked on that, so since there shouldn't be any interruptions for this one three weeks seems right. I look forward to explaining why three weeks wasn't enough in a coming August status update.

I think I'm going to do the Vizier's scenes first which includes a first for this game, anal.  Most the content has been pretty vanilla so far since we're just stating to get past regular sex with most the characters, but we should be getting into a bit more variety and kink now. All the new Ulric scenes should be getting pretty kinky too, as that's the "Princess gets abused" route. So if you're not comfortable with that kind of content you might want to skip that one. In general I try to quarantine more divisive things to their own route. The lesbian dom/sub play stays in the Evette route, the futa/gender bending stuff stays in Cecily's route, the more abusive relationship stuff is with Ulric, etc.
