Added 2020-01-20 21:49:07 +0000 UTCThe winner of the name poll is... Naked Ambition! So pending any last minute genius ideas, the new game has graduated from untitled princess game to Naked Ambition. Naked Ambition is at it's heart a visual novel dating sim. It involves you reading text, trying to guide the Princess down different paths that mostly consist of what character you want her to bang, etc. But it has the soul of a rougelike.
Unlike most visual novels, the game isn't based around a branching tree of decisions. The strategy of the game comes from dealing with unexpected events as best you can. The game is full of random events that will modify the Princess's stats in unpredictable ways. You also have seven council members you need to convince to vote for the Princess to be queen and the order of their visits is randomized each game as well.
This means that every time you play the game, you'll have to pick the Princess's classes and activities in different orders depending on your goals, what random events have happened, the order of council member visits, etc.
There's also a level of progression to the game. Based on events of previous games, you'll unlock new activities to for the Princess to do. Get assassinated and you'll be able to make the princess practice espionage, get her slutty stat high enough and next play through you'll be able to make her visit the royal brothel, etc.

This is another member of the regency council that decides the Princess's fate. As with all the other characters, she is a romance option.
This should be the last preview before the first test build which will be out in the next few days.
