Loss and Return: An Update from My Life

My dear friends and supporters,

You’ve probably wondered why it’s been so quiet lately, despite my vacation, except for that one preview image, even though I originally mentioned that I would release a surprise every Friday.

The truth is, reality had other plans. Just a few days after my vacation began, my grandmother - the most important person in my life - was hospitalized at the age of 91. Since her condition was critical, I spent most of my time with her, whenever I could.

Yesterday, she passed away in hospice, less than an hour after I said my goodbyes, which does ease my pain a little. She was my rock, my center. Now she’s gone, and I have to navigate life alone from here on. It’s really hard for me to cope with this loss.

So, my entire vacation has, more or less, literally gone down the drain, and I feel emptier now than before. But I suppose that’s just how it’s meant to be. I’ll be getting back to working on the comics next week as planned, but I ask for your understanding if I’m a bit scattered at first.
