A tentative method to use Ver.R mods in MHWS

Beware that this is a tentative method, only for users how want to use mods before REFraemwork update, the method came from mod community, include some manual edit to files and I can't gurantee it will work for everyone, please wait for REFramework update if you can't get mods work by this method.

Here is the method:

uninstall all mods, unless you can make sure it can still work, following

install latest reframework（01204）, make sure "loose file loader" enabled, following install tutorial part1, 2

replace original pak files:
open game folder, locate
re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_001.pak
~
re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_013.pak

you can find some extremely small (144bit) pak files, those are empty packages, thus can be replaced to other pak files without affect game.

take re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_011.pak as an example, rename it to re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_011.pak-bak, then copy pak file in Ver.R Basic Texture to game folder and rename it to replace re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_011.pak

now game will load textures in Ver.R Basic Textures, so that other Ver.R mods can work properly

you can use this method to install other pak mods, but you must make sure they don't contain outdated files such as .pfb and .user.3

P.S.remember to reverse the process after REFramework update

beware that other armor mods also need update, I will update them one by one after this article, when download, make sure the title contain (fixed TU4), don't use outdated mods and double check version number when install in fluffy manager. check:

before REFramework update, please avoid use pak mods such as bottom hair, tattoo, certain texture options in pak format unless you know how.
