Marie-Claude Bourbonnais/John North crossover project

End August, I get contacted as I sometimes do by somebody who wants to do a project. When I get those nothing ever comes of it. This time though, it was through MC's team. I was told that she had done a set based on the comic Marie. Which is ironic, because I did Marie based on her. They showed me a picture, which this artwork is based on. The theme was, Marie goes to the attic the day before Lucas get's there. I was floored. MC is the spark that got me to create Brandy and Marie. But I must say that in general, she's the Muse I base most of my characters on.
So what's my contribution on this? It will come a little later in November. I cannot thank them enough for this kindness and passion. They have worked diligently on this set and re-created so wonderfully the attic from the first comic. Yes, the costume itself is simple. But that's not the point of this shoot. Not only does she live and breathe the character, everything around her feels like it comes out of the Marie comic.
They have brought her to life in a way I never thought would happen.
This feels very much like a full circle.
