Hello everyone!

I just wanted to tell you that I'm inking the next Hot4Teach as we speak. I have to tell you, sometimes I want the story to go into a direction, but then it feels forced so I have to change course. Something like that happened with this one. The story, I feel, is better for it don't worry.

There's also a subject I want to touch upon also. I love everyone's enthusiasm. I do. LOVE it. In fact, the more, the better. But from time to time, some awesome folks will send me a story of regarding a character I've posted or of a direction where it should be going, what should happen next. This happens from time to time, and I get it.

But please, don't send me those.

I'm not saying this to make anyone feel bad or it being a reflection of anyone's writing skills... I love your passion, but I just can't take the risk of doing something and having someone come back at me claiming it's their idea. These characters that you see are 100% John North. They're my babies and it takes a lot of work to put these pages out. Often, when I create a new character, by the time they go from my head to the page, I already know their story. It's part of the process of how I design them.

But if you have fun writing stories and coming up with characters of your own, please. Go out there and create. Show what you can do. Draw, write or do whatever that makes you happy. It feels better to create for yourself, then other. At least for me.
