Hello everyone!
I have something I need to get off my chest. I don't have a lot of time in my week. But when I do, I'm working on my comics. Always. And I think I'm pretty fast, especially when I'm motivated. One thing that motivates me is moving from one project to the next one. The problem that I have, is that when I do full colors on a comic... It adds time to the project. A LOT OF TIME. I want to be perfectly honest with you... I didn't feel like continuing Riley. Because of the enormous amount of time needed to color the book. I don't know that I have that in me right now. Unless this gig became a full time thing, that would be a different. I'm a one man operation.
The panel at the top is from the next Riley update. It was lightning fast to do. I LOVED IT. I'm feeling I'm back on the book. I think this is what I'm going to do for now. It goes fast, I go to the next thing quickly... It just makes more sense to me and keeps me engaged.
But I won't stop coloring everything. For now this is what I'm going to do.
I really want to go this direction. I think it makes more sense to me. I want to do more books! I hove more Mighty Honey stories, Brandy, Marie stories... things you don't even know I'm working concepts on!!!
So as you can see, I'm not abandoning colors. Just for the sequential. My sanity needs it.
Hope it's cool with you. I'm trying to be as honest as I can. I want to give you more content. But I don't have more time for now.
Cheers,
-JohnN
