3DO (in Japan): the itch.io of the 90s

While itch.io is known these days as the place where one can create anything and everything gaming for the world to see, there weren't many places so free nor accessible in the 90s... but the 3DO was one of them, and my god did we get some beautiful, bizarre, unhinged, and amazing art out of it - especially overseas! So join me on a guided tour through a wonderful, forgotten realm, as we explore the incredible world of the 3DO in Japan!

Patreon question! Would you ever consider covering Fate/Grand Order? Not the main story (far too much for a single video), but an event or an Epic of Remnant like... Salem? 🥞 [PS: I really liked the video, but I don't have anything else to add to that lol]

fohfuu

I really loved this video. Thank you so much for giving this insight.

I just saw in the patreon Q&A section that there might be a Slow Damage video in the future. Personally, I love the game, there is so much to dissect thematically. Very excited if it happens ^^b Also awesome vid, keep up the good work!

Honestly, a really good video. I am a sucker for the more obscure aspects of Video Game History but reframing the 3DO as one of the early ways to go indie and not on PC is not what I expected to watch today. Awesome video! (Also, as an SMT head, the possibility of you covering that series also has me a bit hype.)
