A thanks to new patrons & update on the status of the channel

Hello all! This post is going to be public as it addresses some public things. Nothing too bad, just shenanigans with YouTube.

But first of all, thank you to everyone who signed up as a Patron, whether before the SEW shout out or after. It's incredible to see this level of support for these videos and it has me excited to keep creating more and more!! This patreon is quickly approaching the point where I can afford to spend more time more consistently on making these videos, which is just an absolute blessing. 

As a reminder, if you are a patron, feel free to give suggestions for retro (pre-2003) games in the comments below and I'll see about taking a look at them at some point. ( ´ ∀ `)ノ～ ♡

Now for the bad news: I've been hit with a community guidelines strike, which means I can't upload or publicize anything until the 13th (maybe 14th). I think technically two strike, but it's been grouped as one and I'm absolutely not complaining. The first was for linking to a website (RiceDigital) that I wasn't aware of YouTube having a vendetta against, so I got an instant strike for that and am waiting on appeal.

This means the Possessioner video will launch late to the larger public - the post will still go live on Patreon on the 9th, though probably with the link pointing to an Internet Archive upload for a brief period as I'm kind of cautious of putting the video up in its current state, because...

Ayayo got taken down! Yeah, for some reason, and I don't know if it's mass brigading or something, it got flagged as against the YT policy for sexual/adult content despite being less explicit than some larger channels with monetization talking about adult content. My appeal was denied literal minutes after sending it, not even enough time to see the first Ayayo discussed. 

I guess it doesn't fly for me since I'm smaller and lack financial backing, which is frustrating since regardless of size you should be able to talk about these things.

At the moment, Team YouTube has said they're looking into it, and I have a twitter thread going on documenting the whole thing. In the mean time, I'll be working on getting the video up on Internet Archive so it's at least publicly accessible in some form. And if the appeal gets rejected again for some nonsensical reason, I'll be re-uploading the video with more censorship.

This is also why I'm not letting the current version of the Possessioner video go public, as I'm afraid of possibly anything being grounds for another strike. I'll be going back and hiding basically everything but the faces and dialogue, and have that go live as soon as my 7-day gay jail ban expires. It sucks, but it's better than losing my whole channel.

The only positive to editing the Possessioner video further is that I'll be able to add all of you new Patreon folks into the shoutout section and talk about this whole debacle to bring attention to it and how bad YouTube is towards people talking about any sort of ero content in general. And I think that's a big positive at least!

Regardless, thank you all for your support - I'll continue on working on content regardless and be more careful in the future, maybe to a silly extent. I am not dying until the world allows me and everyone else to discuss eroge freely. This is non-negotiable.
