June video status update

Hello all! It's time for the monthly update on what's to come next! \o/

As per usual, a big thanks to everyone who's donated, both new and old; it's great to see this Patreon growing further and further, especially as I'm diving into more obscure subjects and sometimes need to buy things that aren't freely available online.  

I've also finished up much of my music work for the time being, so I will have far more time to dedicate to videos, which hopefully means less pushing myself past my limits! Yay! Speaking of the videos, let's take a look at what's in the pipeline:

Ayayo-san: A very, VERY bizarre but also fascinating series from a historic standpoint, tying into tons of different creators and franchises in ways you probably wouldn't expect. At the moment, I need to gather footage of the various versions and finish script writing, but it's going smoothly.

Baldr Force: Not started yet, but likely will in the next two or three weeks.

Early JAST USA: Not started yet, and I'm not actually sure what I want to do with this. I feel like it might be better to do a whole video series on early VN localizations, which would put JAST somewhere in the middle of that. And I also want to try and go over the quality of the localizations, which means playing these games in Japanese. So I'll see where to go with this.

Rance series: It had to happen eventually. I'll be playing a lot of games relevant to the history of the series soon enough, and then diving into the titles themselves. The current plan is to do a single video on Rance 1, 2, 01, and 02, as they're all pretty connected and rather short from what I know. From then on... well, I don't have any intention of doing a Rance marathon, but I will try to release videos here and there looking at the games as well as other Alicesoft titles. G Gundam dating sim anyone?

More elf shenanigans: With the rate my Japanese is progressing, I'm confident that I'll be able to start looking at other works by the famous studio either very late this year or early next year. I'm currently playing Isaku in my downtime and intend to do a video on it at some point, it's a VERY fascinating horror adventure game that deserves far more attention than it's gotten. I'll also be taking a look at Dragon Knight and the other Kyuusei games at some point.

YU-NO: Same as before, shooting for a big video in December. I'll get to reading Desire and Xenon after I finish Isaku and Tsuki ni Yorisou, though the latter is me being selfish and taking time to myself since I don't plan on making a video on it. Unless...
