The waterpark was loud, hot, and chaotic—exactly the kind of place I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend my day. Ashlee, on the other hand, was in her element. She’d been talking nonstop about how cute her bikini was, how much she loved water slides, and how we needed to get matching slushies before we left. She bounced between attractions with energy that made my head spin, her blonde hair somehow still perfectly curled despite the humidity.
Ayden? Well, Ayden didn’t seem as interested in the water park as he did in being noticed. That damn red speedo left nothing to the imagination, clinging to him in a way that I couldn’t seem to ignore. Every time he came out of the water, it stuck to him, riding up in the back like a thong. He didn’t bother adjusting it much either, like he knew exactly how much attention he was getting—and didn’t mind.
“Dallas! Come on, babe!” Ashlee yelled, waving me over to the lazy river. She had a bright pink tube float and a massive pair of sunglasses that took up half her face.
“Yeah, be a good boyfriend,” Ayden teased, sidling up next to me. “Don’t keep her waiting.”
I tried to focus on Ashlee, but every time Ayden moved, I found my eyes drifting back to him. The way the muscles in his back shifted, the curve of his waist, and—damn it—the way that speedo barely covered anything. It was impossible not to look. He knew it too, because every time I caught myself staring, he’d flash me that smirk of his, like he was waiting for me to say something.
By the time the afternoon rolled around, we’d hit most of the big attractions. Ashlee was lounging in a chair, sipping from a neon-colored slushie, and scrolling on her phone. “This is, like, the best day ever,” she said, snapping a picture of her drink. “I’m totally posting this later. You’re okay being in the background, right, babe? Oh, my God, wait, no—take a picture of me!”
I snapped a quick photo, trying not to roll my eyes. Meanwhile, Ayden stretched out on the chair beside her, completely unbothered, his phone buzzing every few minutes. He checked it casually, smirking to himself each time.
“What’s so funny?” I asked, unable to help myself.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Ayden said, tilting his head. “You’re curious, aren’t you?”
“I’m not—” I started, but he cut me off.
“Don’t lie, Dallas. It’s written all over your face.” He leaned closer, lowering his voice. “Grindr. You ever seen it?”
I shook my head. “No. Isn’t that, like, a dating app or something?”
He laughed. “Or something. You really wanna know? I can show you later.”
I didn’t know why my stomach flipped at the thought, but I nodded anyway.
--- --- ---
By the time we got back to the locker room, the day had worn me out. I was ready to shower, change, and get out of there. Ayden, on the other hand, was still full of energy, scrolling on his phone as his notifications buzzed nonstop.
“Grindr,” he said suddenly, holding up his screen. “This is it.”
I glanced over, trying to act uninterested, but the app was… not what I expected. The interface looked simple, but the profiles popping up were anything but. I barely had time to register what I was looking at before Ayden swiped to another chat, revealing a dick pic.
“Whoa!” I blurted out, stepping back. “That’s just… out there?”
Ayden grinned. “Oh, yeah. Grindr’s not for small talk. People know what they want, and they don’t waste time.”
He scrolled again, showing me another conversation. This one wasn’t any better—some guy asking if Ayden was “up for a quickie” with another picture attached. My face burned as I tried to look away, but I couldn’t.
“This is insane,” I said. “Does everyone just… send pictures like that?”
“Pretty much.” Ayden chuckled, his eyes sparkling. “You’d be surprised how creative some people get. It’s kind of fun, though. No beating around the bush—just straight to the point.”
I didn’t know what to say. The whole thing was so far out of my comfort zone, but I couldn’t stop staring. It wasn’t just the app—it was the way Ayden talked about it, like this was all normal. He was so casual, so confident, and I couldn’t help but feel… intrigued.
“You okay there, Dallas?” he asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
“Yeah. Fine,” I said quickly, but my voice cracked, giving me away.
Ayden laughed softly, setting his phone down. “You’re cute when you’re flustered, you know that?” He stepped closer, his dark eyes studying me. “Seriously, though—you’ve got a good look. Broad shoulders, nice arms, and that whole bro thing you’ve got going on? Hot.”
I stared at him, completely thrown. “I… uh… thanks?”
“Don’t mention it,” Ayden said with a wink. “Just calling it like I see it.”
Ayden wasted no time. He hooked his thumbs under the waistband of his tiny red speedo and, with a slow, shameless shimmy, slid it down his hips. He stepped out of it completely, standing there bare, not a shred of hesitation in his body.
I tried to look anywhere but at him, but it was impossible not to notice—he was packing. Thick, heavy, and just… there. He didn’t cover himself or act modest; if anything, he stood a little taller, stretching his arms out like he was showing off.
I swallowed hard, forcing my hands to move. I wasn’t about to be the awkward one here. Keeping my face neutral, I pushed down my own trunks and stepped out of them, standing up straight like it was nothing. If Ayden could be casual, so could I.
Ayden’s eyes flicked downward, and his smirk widened. “It’s a nice size, Dallas,” he said smoothly. “Not as big as mine, but more than enough.” His gaze lingered for just a second too long before he grinned. “And I like the beauty mark.”
My stomach flipped. The beauty mark. That small, dark spot near the base of my cock that I’d never thought about in my entire life—until now. I tensed, suddenly hyper-aware of my own body in a way I never had been before.
“And I don’t regret coming to the water park now—it’s actually pretty fun. See you back at the hotel.” He smirked before turning back to his locker, leaving me standing there, my heart pounding and my thoughts spinning.
I told myself it didn’t mean anything, that he was just being Ayden. But as I hurriedly changed back into my clothes, I couldn’t stop thinking about his words—or the way they made me feel. And as if that wasn’t enough, I had almost forgotten that we were all staying at the same hotel after the water park.
