Hey everyone! I wanted to get your input on one of my upcoming stories. It centers around Ryder, an 18-year-old rebellious punk who’s all about skating and hanging out with his girlfriend. But his carefree life takes a turn when his mom gives him an ultimatum: either get a job or move in with his dad—something he definitely doesn’t want to do. So, he reluctantly agrees to find work.
Now, this is where you come in! I’d love for you to decide which path Ryder should take:

The Local Shop: Ryder ends up working for Rashid, an older shopkeeper who’s strict and no-nonsense. Through Rashid, Ryder learns some tough lessons about respecting authority—learning the hard way.

The Body Shop: Ryder becomes an apprentice under Joe, an experienced, rugged mechanic. Joe doesn’t go easy on him, and Ryder learns what it really means to work hard—learning the hard way.
Which direction do you think Ryder’s story should go? Vote in the poll below, and comment if you have any other ideas.
