Hey folks!

Guess what I'm looking to reboot? 😏

Book of Ashes was one of my biggest projects . . . that stalled on take-off. With 448 renders done, it was already bigger than most of my comics by that point. Looking back, the main issue was that I was using Adobe InDesign to compile my comic books. This prevented me from segmenting a large comic into readable monthly chapters, like I release today.

I'm looking to go back and re-render the whole project so that it can be released monthly. Also, it's been almost two years and my rendering skillz have drastically improved. I've already upgraded Indy's model with the latest technology and techniques I now use.

Given that most of the scenes are already done, some segments will be easy to upgrade and render. Others will require some work. But I think this story about Indy's capture and submission to Belloq needs to be told!

I don't have a timeline in mind right now. In fact, I've got to streamline my workflow so that I don't take on more projects than I can chew. But dropping a surprise chapter here-and-there would be a nice bonus on occasion.

I know a lot of you guys are fans of the original set. I've removed it from my Patreon as I'm looking to revamp it, and I didn't want a reminder of a stalled project on my wall. Rest assured that what I'll replace it with will be far superior. I'm especially invigorated by MachineGames' latest trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle! 🤩

But back to work on Batgirl for now. It's crunch-time for this Saturday's release!
