Chapter 54 : Quetzalcoatl?

Kyle was still staring at Quetzalcoatl eyes, as he was fascinated by it, so he couldn't hear their words.

"Kyle? Hey? Are you listening." Said Hina, she noticed that her nephew wasn't paying attention, her words brought back Kyle from reality.

"Ah, sorry I dozed off for a moment, so what's up?"

"Ara~? Did you perhaps fall in love with me?" Quetzalcoatl said teasingly, while Tohru was looking at Kyle with a 'Is it true?!' expression.

This caught him off guard, he didn't think that she would tease him openly to everyone, if he were to deny her claim then this issue would be over, but he'd like to try something new, within a mere moment his body language and expression turned flirty. "Yeah? So what if I am?"

"Kyle?! What are you saying?!" Hina shouted in disbelief.

He approached her and stared at her eyes, Quetzalcoatl didn't expect for Kyle to counter her tease, though she was aware that he was just acting, she couldn't help but smile. "Ara~ Ara~ what should I do?~

"Haha, okay okay I give up you win." He chuckled, knowing that he couldn't win against her, besides if he would let this continue he was afraid of how Tohru would react, he glanced at Tohru's direction, however what he expected her to do didn't, happen she was just looking at him smiling, it wasn't the same as a bone shivering smile but an encouraging one.

He truly didn't expect her to be like this, she somehow changed, if it before she would get overly jealous if another woman other than her and Hina, would get closer to him but now she doesn't seem to mind?

This change was just too much, that he couldn't believe it, he thought. 'Was it because of what happened in Meru's apartment?'

Other than that he couldn't think of any, Tohru was afraid of being loathed and hated by him, for it was the scariest thing that would ever happen to her, it's similar to her entire world getting destroyed.

"Too bad, it was just getting fun but you give up, anyway let me introduce myself again I am Quetzalcoatl you can call me Lucoa." This time she closed her eyes, as she doesn't usually open it.

"Then nice to meet you Lucoa, my name is Kobayashi Kyle, sorry but I'd like to ask something, if you don't want to answer it then feel free."

"I'll think about it, depends on your question."

"Then, are you a goddess?"

"Ara~? So you really did fall in love with me?" She smiled teasingly.

"No, not that kind of goddess, what I meant is a real goddess." He knows that this was a pretty dumb question to ask since he could literally feel her Aura of 'Divinity', but he'd like to confirm it by saying it on her own.

(A/N : Lucoa is an Ex goddess in the origami series, but even so it was just a position and it doesn't change the fact that she's an existence with 'Divinity'.)

Suddenly both of her eyes opened, and she looked at him. "Can't you see it already? Why are you asking such pointless question?"

He didn't mind her words, mainly because she was right, he replied. "I just wanted to confirm because you're the first God that I've encountered, I just wanted to make sure."

Closing her eyes, she tilted her head and said. "Your words make sense and don't at the same time, you know you're pretty weird."

"What? How come?" He was surprised, he thought. 'Which part of me is weird? Oh wait is it my damn eyes?'

Quetzalcoatl continued. "I didn't mean by your appearance or anything, what is weird is even though you're a God you're pretty reasonable and kind of polite."

Confused by her sentence, he asked. "Isn't that normal? What's weird with that?"

"That's exactly the reason why you're weird, well you see ever since I have arrived in the world I have met several gods but each one of them is like you a minor God." Seeing that Kyle was about to say something, she added.

"Now I'll tell you why I called you weird, you see the majority of the gods I've seen in this world are males, and each everyone of them are arrogant to the point that they thought that they could do anything and obtain anything they want, to tell you the truth the first God I met was a male and here I thought as a goddess of another world I'd like to ask some questions about this world, but then that God was looking at my body with lust then that fool said 'You have a very beautiful face and body, now be my wife!' I was of course surprised and I know he wasn't joking so naturally I refused in a polite way, as I don't like conflict."

"However, that fool got angry and said 'How dare you refuse me?! It was already a blessing for you to become my wife?! Yet you rejected me? Do you have any idea how many women wanted this Divine body of mine?! How dare you embarrass me! You're courting!' his words made me dumbfounded, I thought that this person got a few screws in the head, how can anyone be unreasonable? As I hated trouble I decided to leave the fool but then he shouted 'You dare to run away?!' thus the fool started to attack me with his cringy technique names like Heaven Shattering Dragon Fist! Or something because he attacked me first."

"Naturally I have to fight back, and guess what? Even though his technique sounds powerful it was very weak that I only needed a finger to counter it, then I attacked him with a magic missile and I guess what again? His body was so weak! To the point that my magic made a hole in his stomach and after knowing that I'm powerful the fool begged me to let him live saying 'Forgive me! I failed to see Mount Tai! Please let me live!''

"So I decided to give him a chance, but then after a few days I saw that fool again with a group of idiots along with him, the fool said 'A few days ago you humiliated me! Now I've come to take my revenge!' I was so pissed at that time and ended up killing the fool and the idiots, after that similar things happened and I killed them without hesitation because I figured that talking with such people is a waste of time."

Hearing her story, he was very speechless, he thought. 'Why does it sound like those brainless young masters from Xianxia?'

Kyle suddenly asked. "Are you perhaps in China at that time?"

"That's right, how did you know?"

"......I just know."

While they were talking about Gods and stuff, Hina was frozen to hear that her dear nephew was a God, after she snapped back to reality, she shouted. "WAIT WAIT! LUCOA-SAN WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT MY KYLE IS A GOD?!"
