Chapter 48 : Determination?

After everything, Tohru finished repairing Meru's apartment and after that Kyle started to explain the origin of Tohru and him being a God.
He wanted her to know a bit about himself, as he hoped that she would give up on him after saying it, but the effect was the opposite. Instead she was even more determined to be in a relationship with him!
"Wow! Your explanation is something that usually happens in a fantasy novel plot, truly unbelievable and amazing! To think the first person I loved is a God? As expected of me, my eyes weren't wrong Kyle or should I call you God Of Delivery?"
"Screw that title, just call me like you used to before."
"Alright, then~ but Kyle I'm serious about my confession, more than before conquering a God huh? Isn't this exciting?! Honest at this point I don't care if I'm your 2nd, 3rd of even 100th! It's totally understandable because of your identity as a God it wouldn't be strange if you make a harem or two." She said it with a knowing smile.
Somewhat Tohru accepted this idea, if it's from before she wouldn't accept this at all but after today's incident she's seriously considering it, because as long as it makes him happy she doesn't mind.
Kyle stared at her with a deadpan expression, and replied. "What the hell are you talking about? That's not going to happen."
Meru shrugs at his reply, even if he doesn't have any choice, because there are more than one girl that is interested in him, as far as she knows even Kyōka was interested in him, she thought. 'I should probably tell her about this harem plan.'
If it's impossible, she'll make it possible that everything is totally normal.
"So you guys are staying? You can sleep in any room you like."
"Nah, we're going home anyway I expect to see you at school tomorrow got that?"
"Of course!" She immediately nodded, after all even if he didn't say it, she would still go because she's going to start her harem plan.
"Alright, we'll be going now."
"Wait, I'll open the door for you."
"No need, Tohru can you?"
She nodded in understanding, and she opened a portal toward their mansion. This ability of her's is very convenient as long as she has been personally in that place, she could open a portal there anywhere anytime.
Kyle thought. 'If this skill could be learned I would like to learn it as well! But sadly this is a unique skill…'
As soon as they went inside, the portal instantly disappeared from the sight of Meru, after a moment of silence she couldn't help exclaim. "Holy sh*t! Is that the famed teleportation portal?! Gosh I want to experience teleporting once!"

Everything became normal, but with some extra change he had another girl chasing after him, only at this moment he realized that he's actually pretty popular with girls but there is something that confuses him, except for Tohru and Esdeath he doesn't know how the hell did Meru fall in love with him?
But thinking anything further makes it troublesome, so he stops thinking about that issue.
Currently it's lunchtime in school, and he didn't bring any bento because he wouldn't want to eat the bento that Tohru makes, it's not like he hated it.
It's just he couldn't just bring himself to eat her tail, he considered it as a taboo, now speaking of Meru she did come to school again and he was glad that his rehabilitation was successful, however... where is she bringing Kyōka thou?
But not it matters anyway, he went to the cafeteria so that he could buy some lunch, and as he arrived he bought the tastier looking ones regardless of their prices. He didn't care.
It's not like their prices are a million each, but it's not actually far off from a million, because there is this dish that cost 100,000 yen. It's crazy but damn plenty of students still buy it, they didn't even blink when they paid for it.
Damn rich Ojou-sama's, well it's not like he isn't rich too so he tried to not be bothered, and after a satisfying meal there is still time before the class will resume.
He decided to explore for a bit, even though he was a student here for a little over a month there is just some place that he hasn't explored yet because this school is just too damn huge.
So a half hour later, he arrived at school gym literally a gym that is filled with equipment, he was curious so he went inside.
After looking inside for a minute, he found out that he wasn't the only person inside but there are 3 excluding him.
Although he's the only guy at the moment, anyway what he saw surprised him very much, it was Ayane doing some push ups.

Her entire body was filled with sweat, and her clothes were exactly the same as yesterday, her sweat wasn't just limited in her body but also on the floor.
Ayane's friend was worriedly looking at her. "Ayane stop this already! You've been doing this non-stop since yesterday! Why are you even doing this?!"
Keiko was worried about her, she doesn't know why she was doing this but, this is too much she have been doing push-ups since yesterday, she didn't even sleep nor she ate her meals.
"That's right Ayane, what's the point of doing this?! Are you going crazy?"
Makoto is another friend of Ayane who is equally worried as Keiko, she couldn't understand Ayane's goal for doing push-ups non stop.
However she replied with a determined smile. "Thank you, for worrying about me but I'm almost done! And..and after this I can finally become his disciple!"
Ayane continued her push-up, and totally ignoring her friends advice, is she tired you ask? She is! She's extremely exhausted!
Is her muscles hurt? It does! It hurts so much that she wants to groan in pain, is she hungry? Of course she is! She feels like she would faint at any moment now!
She could only keep this up, solely because of her willpower!
Witnessing this scene, Kyle smiled bitterly and felt guilty he said it as a joke, but who would have thought that she would do what he said?
However this made him respect her for determination, even he wasn't sure if he could do the same if they have the same strength, cause Kyle at this moment could do 100,000 push ups non-stop without a problem.
He didn't stop her, because if he did it's like he insulted her determination and willpower.
So in his heart no matter what is the result, he would accept her as his disciple because she's worth teaching and all he could teach is precisely the breathing technique.
He doesn't mind teaching her that, because she's worthy.
Kyle waited for her to stop or to finish her goal.

A few minutes later, Ayane was already at her last 5 push-ups!
"99,995!"

Her muscles were already exhausted to the point that she couldn't move her arms, but with the miraculous last push, she achieved her goal.
"100,000!" As soon as said that, she let her body collapse on the ground, she couldn't move anymore but she was satisfied she did it! She could finally learn under him!
As she collapsed both Keiko and Makoto shouted. "Ayane!"
Ayane was panting heavily and said. 'I-i did it...I'm so exhausted to the point I can't feel my own body anymore...but I did it…"
Suddenly someone started clapping, and all of the girls eyes were into that person, he said. "Good job I didn't think you'd actually finish it."
That person is naturally Kyle, as she saw him she said. "Master..?"
"Yep, it's me congratulations you succeed now...you can sleep." As he said that, Ayane fainted and went to a deep sleep.
