Chapter 42 : Meeting An Acquaintance?

At the amusement park,

Tohru was fascinated by the things that she had seen in the park, a huge circle that was spinning, a cart that moved so fast that the humans riding it were screaming in enjoyment.

They are a ferris wheel and a rollercoaster, they are just one of the few things that she saw in the park, Instinct of curiosity has gotten over her.

Seeing her like this, Kyle smiled at this moment she looks similar to a curious child, he didn't interrupt her he would like her to enjoy this.

After a few minutes, Tohru finally snapped back out of reality, she was embarrassed because she lost herself from the attractions, and she immediately apologized. "I'm sorry! I-i was just-"

He cut off her sentence, and immediately replied. "Don't worry about it, I love looking at your curious look so don't feel bad about it."

"E-eh?! R-really?" She was stunned by the sudden praise of Kyle, she naturally blushed.

"Yep, now that you snapped back, which would you like to ride first?" He asked.

"I-i get to choose?! Is it really okay?" She wasn't expecting this, she was totally clueless about the date, she only knew what it meant: a girl and a boy having fun that's how she understood that, however there was a clear excitement in her voice.

"Of course! Listen since I'm the one who invited you to a date, naturally I have taken care of you as long as you're happy, then similarly I'm also happy."

"T-then, can we ride that moving cart?!" She excitedly pointed at the rollercoaster.

"Ah, a rollercoaster huh..sure let's go!" Immediately after he said that, Tohru dragged him with her toward the roller coaster ticket booth.

Kyle gave her some money so that she could buy a ticket from the booth, he wanted her to experience buying a ticket herself so next time, he wouldn't have to worry about her being ignorant.

As Tohru bought a ticket, the person in the booth was dumbfounded, she was shocked by Tohru's beauty, compared to her she was worth nothing, the booth manager depressingly sigh as she thought. 'Why has God made us unfairly?!'

She gave Tohru the tickets with a sad expression, after getting the tickets Tohru approached Kyle with an excited expression and exclaimed. "I got it, I got it Kyle! Let's ride it now!"

"Yes, yes I can see it now let's go?"

"Mhm!" Both of them went to the roller coaster waiting line, while they were waiting all of the passengers and fellow liners were looking at Tohru with either surprise and awe.

To think a woman as beautiful as this exists?! She was so beautiful to the point that calling her goddess is insufficient.

Either way all passengers and even the staff of the amusement park were looking at Tohru's beauty, while he was being ignored.

It's not like he minds though, for he is aware of the difference between him and Tohru whenever it's appearance or power he couldn't compare to her, it was already a miracle that this woman is having a date with him.

And more importantly she is in love with a guy like him, he is truly lucky however if he only knew that few to several goddess level beauty is after him, who knows how he would react.

To his knowledge only Tohru and Esdeath are in love with him, he hasn't noticed the others feelings yet.

As for Kanna, she's excluded! She was his precious later sister, but what he didn't know in the near future those words would slap his face on how wrong he is.

But that's a story for the future, for now he and Tohru are now riding the rollercoaster as it started to move, Tohru was filled with excitement she exclaimed. "It moved! It moved!"

The other passengers who heard this couldn't help but smile, as they thought that Tohru was really cute at the moment she was like a child excited for getting a new toy.

However they could just see her real form, they would wet their pants surely, but they didn't. That's why could act and think like this, probably only Kyle and Kobayashi could act carefree as they already accepted her real form long ago.

The rollercoaster had finally reached the highest point, and was now going to fall down, many we're excited and some we're scared after all those who ride the rollercoaster are either an excitement seeker or being forced by their partners.

Finally the awaited moment began, the roller coaster fell and people screamed in excitement, joy and fear!

Tohru was in the group excitement and joy, this was actually nothing compared to when she flys, but she gets to enjoy this in her human form but the main point is, she was with her loved one together alone so her excitement raised to another degree.

After a few rounds of rolling around, the ride had finished, Tohru excitement was still there, she said. "Kyle let's ride it again!"

"Sure, sure." He couldn't just refuse this cute dragon girl, so they rode it for 7 times and finally moved on to other attractions.

Next they tried the ferris wheel, though it wasn't as exciting as before, both of them still enjoyed it, next is the horror house to his surprise. Tohru actually afraid of the attraction he didn't think that he would see this side of her which means the date is totally worth it.

So they continued to try more attractions, and so a few hours later, they decided to take a break and eat some food, though none of them are actually hungry, even they don't eat anything for decades they would still live as Kyle is a God and Tohru is quite a special dragon she could survive as long as she had a mana.


They went to the amusement park cafeteria, after arriving they found a place to sit down. There was still one table that could fit 4 people. It was empty, they immediately went there and sat down after sitting down so they could finally rest.

"Hoohh, we're quite lucky that this table is empty."

"Yeah."

Suddenly someone approached them and said. "Hey, can we both sit down here?"

Kyle immediately agreed since it's particularly empty. "Go on, it's empty anyways."

"Thanks." He glanced at the person who asked for the seat, seeing the person he was surprised because recognized her!

At the same time she also recognized him, both of them exclaimed.

"Kyle?!"

"Meru?!"
