Chapter 38 : The Prideful Woman Is In Love?

Morning,

Kyle woke up from his bed, he looked at the clock and saw that it was already 7:00 AM, he stared blankly at it and shouted. "Holy Shit!!! I'm going to be late! Why didn't anyone wake me up?!"

He immediately dashed toward the bathroom, and he brushed his teeth. After that he took a cold shower, washed himself then after washing, he dived into the artificial hot spring after 10 seconds of swimming he immediately went toward his room and hurriedly wore his uniform.

After everything, he went toward the last kitchen to find some food, in the kitchen he saw Tohru happily cooking an egg roll, he spoke. "Good morning Tohru."

"Good morning Kyle!" She smiled at him, ever since he asked her out for a date, she was always smiling.

"Hey, Tohru why didn't you wake me up? You know that I have a class today right?"

"About that...I tried to wake you up, but...you were sleeping soundlessly so I couldn't forgive myself if I were to wake up!" She had a shy expression as she said that, seeing her act like this Kyle was dumbfounded, he thought. 'What the... she's acting like a newlywed wife!'

The way she acts with him is more intimate than she usually does, she might have been holding back before, but..it wasn't so bad because he felt that their relationship is getting closer.

This is just the first step, he smiled wryly at Tohru. "Is that so? What kind of reason is that? Whatever since it already happened I won't talk about it anymore, but please next time if I overslept wake me up okay?"

She nodded. "Okay, anyway I just finished boxing your bento here you go!"

"O-oh thanks? Anyway you know you act like my wife or something."

"Your wife?! Ehehehe~!" Her expression was pretty creepy right now, he immediately snatched the bento from her hands.

"Anyways! I have to go see you later then!" After snatching the bento from her, he immediately left Tohru, even after he left she was still laughing.

She is probably imagining what it likes to be his wife or something, Kyle drives his motorcycle toward his school.

He arrived just in time, he could finally breathe with ease, even though he's literally a God right now, he was still the same, nothing changed.

Except that he became more good looking, and his peaceful life started to break apart, he knows that he couldn't live a normal life anymore no matter how he denies it, his life is no longer peaceful.

He is aware of that ever since he received the system, however he tried to trick himself that his life would be the same as a normal person, it was truly laughable to have a mindset like that.

Right now he was pretty amused by himself for thinking something like that, it was kinda pathetic.

Kyle stared at his school, and he grinned. "I don't care anymore, what happens happens! I'll just be ready all the time."

After saying that, he felt refreshed and free, to think it took him a long time to realize this, he went toward his classroom, he greeted them with a smile.

"Good morning everyone!"

"Good morning Kobayashi-san!"

"G'morning Kobayashi!"

"Yo! Mornin Kyle!"

He was kind of popular in his class, as he was about to sit down at his table, suddenly a bold classmate approached him and didn't hesitate to say. "Kobayashi-san, is it me or are you more good looking than before? Did you perhaps put on a contact lense? I mean your eyes aren't as scary as before!"

Hearing her, almost all of his classmates went and approached him and started to say.

"Let me see! Woah it's true his eyes is less scary than before!"

"Really?!"

"Girls! Let me see!"

"Kobayashi-kun is more charming than before indeed!"

Suddenly someone exclaimed. "Hey you people! He's mine, don't touch my prey!"

"""Huh?!""" Every girl who approached Kyle looked at the person who said those bold words, however as they saw her they went silent because it was Kagamiin Kyōka!

If anyone here is qualified to say it, then it's her. "You lot, go back to your table I'm talking with this guy."

As she said, everyone followed her order after all they couldn't defy her, after that she approached him and said. "Good morning."

Hearing that from her everyone in the classroom went totally silent, they couldn't believe it. Did she just say 'Good morning' to someone?!

There is no doubt the strongest dragon in school is in love! Other than that there is no other explanation, after all they know her personality very well, she's a prideful, arrogant individual, she wouldn't greet someone like that.

Even if she did, she would greet them with her fist and today they just witnessed something incredible, this prideful and arrogant woman actually greeted a person without using her fist and more importantly that person is a male.

So what is it if it's not love?! Even if she denies it they wouldn't believe her!

Kyle was a bit surprised by this unexpected greetings, especially from Kyōka who only knows how to greet someone with a fist, he smirked at her and teasingly. "Oh! What a surprise the great dragon greeted me other than her fist! What a surprise indeed~"

He expected Kyōka to get angry or at a very less getting annoyed, however her reaction was completely out of his expectation.

She blushed, yes the great dragon Kagamiin Kyōka blushed like a little girl! He was speechless for a moment, he didn't think that this woman is capable of doing such expression.

"To think you're capable of having such expression, forget it hey when did I become yours though?"

"Th-that was a joke…" She blushed even further.

"Then what about the prey part?" He asked.

"Oh that, I was serious." All of the redness in Kyōka's face disappeared as she answered him, her expression turned serious.

He stared at her with a blank expression, he never met someone who is capable of changing their emotion within a moment not until today, she should just participate in a world genius record! She might actually become a record holder.

"Oh, is that so? Then will you mind moving? Because I'm going to sit down in my chair."

"Oh, right." Kyōka moved and Kyle sat down in his chair.

After sitting down, he glanced at Kyōka who seemed to be hesitating to say something.

He decided to say. "If you want to say something, then say it. The class is about to start you see."

Hearing him, she decided to say it. "Do you have some time later?"

"...If it was your 'talking privately' then no."

"No, no of course not I'm not going to do that anymore, at least for now."

After thinking for a while, he accepted. "Yes, I do have time."

"Great! Then meet me after school." She almost shouted in excitement.

"Okay." He doesn't know why but he has bad feelings about this.
